Other than that, this year is a bit of a blank canvas for me. I did get some frankly shit news on Monday which I will be annoyingly vague about, and that has the potential to throw a spanner in the works but we'll see! I do like this vlog format you've chosen, by the way!

I'm also an adult with a debilitating fear of driving who has finally conceded that it would make my life significantly easier if I can get myself over the sheer terror of sitting in the driver's seat, much less operating a several thousand pound death machine. It's been almost ten years since I got my learner's permit and then never drove again and let it expire, and I know that it's going to take me a LOT of working my way towards being able to sit in the car without panicking and then a LOT of driving lessons before I'll be comfortable on the road, but it's something to work towards. If I can change my mind about trying it again, you'll be able to do it too, I believe in you!

As someone who did a 200+ mile trip to Sheffield (and then back again) for new years in a cheapy electric car from 2015, be choosy about which car and keep a few charge points in mind. Don't worry. If you start to eat (mostly) vegan, you will be even MORE of a planet-concious person, and still be "allowed" to use a car once in a while. Transportation is accountable for about 25% of climate change. The food industry for 31%, if I have my facts straight. And that is mostly due to non-vegan products polluting the environment. E.g. because animals are often fed soy that is grown on former rainforest land that they burned down. Please please please: Try Veganuary. You can start at any time. It will give you recipes, good deals in food chains and online shops, background information and helpful tips. Also, if you want to be planet-concious, I would recommend (apart from eating as much plant-based as you can) to (1) have an energy supplier that uses green energy instead of coal etc. and (2) to use a bank that does not invest in climate-adverse things. There are only a few really "green" banks to my knowledge. GLS, Ethikbank, Umweltbank and Tomorrow are the ones I know. (All German I believe...)
