I think the world's loudest car meet took place when 22 Aston Martin Vantage GT8s came together at Aston Martin Works. There are many reasons I love the GT8, and these were confirmed for sure during this day, could it get any better?!

+Kevin I don't think the GT R and GT8 are similar at all! Turbo vs NA, double-clutch vs manual, new tech vs old school... However re: Lamborghini, they didn't invite any of us to be involved in it I guess; certainly not me.

They are truly amazing, I went to see one the other day at Aston Martin of Cheltenham It was the launch spec the dark green with the lighter green accents . My dream spec GT8 would be white with the light green accents. Great video again Tim. Mabey the GT8 should go to Monaco for a bit . It would be a blast In the hills above Monaco!

Hey Tim, the cars that had the splitter accent colours tied in with a body graphic looked really good - you should add an orange side stripe, centre stripe or at least add the colour around the rear lights.

When I’m at the Mercedes apprentice academy our hotel is in the same town as the Aston Martin heritage centre in this video and I go and have a nosey around the forecourt every time! Incredible place! Very strange to recognise a place in such a widely view video too! Great stuff Shmee

The 420hp these GT8's came with is a good amount for public roads. They go from zero to a court date in under 5 seconds.

I remember going to look outside the Newport Pagnall with my dad back when they were building the old Vantage/Virage/Volante, many years ago, really lusted after the Vantage of that vintage, around 1993, amazing machine... still saving now for hopefully a V8 Vantage.....

I appreciate the fact that you drive your cars and beat on them occasionally. Imagine a set of long tube headers, a nice x pipe and some magnaflows or bullets. Heavenly. Would be cool if vmp made a gen 2 r or gen 3 blower than would fit on the Aston. Boost makes smiles. Everyone needs a good smile. Thanks shmee you are a genius. I have the Hot Wheels version of the GT12 that was produced so early it’s still called the Vantage GT3, the original name of the car before Porsche took issue with it and Aston changed it.

Oh no, it was still on, just lifted up at the back because of having a warm engine cooling down and not risking a fire from the exhausts - I tend to leave it up at the back.
