Here’s why it needs a new pump / quick quarry visit / I hate horse flys !

Join me for a day in the life of a heavy plant mechanic working in construction, forestry and quarries ! I work for Scotlands only dealer of Develon construction equipment we do diggers, dozers, shovels and dump trucks ! In this episode I’ll be changing out a water pump on a DX85R-7. Up into to woods where I’m swarmed by horse flys and into a quarry in Cumbria for a lunchtime service in the sun !

Have you been to Euro Auctions at Leeds / Selby ? It is massive . I went looking for a32 ft anti vandal office for the garden and I couldn't believe how much tackle they had in . I think it's about 90 acres

dont think that was wd40 on the engine alot of truck drivers spray baby oil on there engines if there going to go to a truck show and in the winter the muck washes of alot faster

Can recommend at B&M the Blaupunk fridge/heated unit, it stands up, big capacity Ali. Price has gone up since I got mine 2 years ago though £45 now, you can get a trade card for Halfords it’s easy just need a payslip.

Hs2 stuff... bargain? Doubt it,lots of times ive heard fitters from big outfits say let it develop its warranty,plus quite bit kit on there spends time idling...not the best on new tackle

I do love a clean engine bay! Any chance that you could follow up with the driver of the DX85, in order to confirm with him what he does / uses, in order to maintain his machine's engine cleanliness and has he done the same on previous machines ? Thanks.

So he had the machine that was stuck on the side of a hill about 18months ago a little DX63 I don’t remember it being noticeably clean but it was towards the end of a job so maby it was to do before the next

There is huge potential for it to be used in cleaning heavy equipment - both inside the engine bay and in the cab, where there's obviously lots of electronic equipment.
