Here’s some life advice: if you’re talking to a police officer and they start to put on gloves, stop and think about what you’re doing/saying. Make a voluntary attitudinal adjustment before the ground makes one for you.
@gi789216 күн бұрын
I love the line "you're going to lose your job if you touch me". The majority of cases where the officer loses their job (that we hear about) is because the individual ended up dead. Either way following directions seems to be the best path to take.

I was a correctional deputy for years. One of the deputies I loved working with was an old timer who the inmates labeled Sgt Death. It seems that while he was much younger and a Sgt, he had this ability to know when there was going to be an inmate suicide on his watch. He was accurate 90% of the time. Well, when I got to work with him, he was close to 25 years in on the job and had dropped to part time. Anytime he was my partner and the sh!t was going to go sideways, he would calmly take his watch and glasses off and tuck them in his pocket. Anytime an inmate saw his do that, they would tell whoever was causing the issues to chill out because Sgt Death just entered the fight. Nine times out of ten, that would work to calm the situation down…unfortunately there was that 10th time when we had to go hands on to resolve the situation.

Seriously, in court you might actually have a chance. Fighting on the side of the road will make things exponentially worse, and greatly diminish any chance of catching a break. @@jonathanfornwalt4919 ....He had no chance to fight this because he 100 percent was guilty. He was drunk off his ass and was driving. He was drunk and was swerving over the road. The cop saw him swerving and pulled him over. That was 100% fully legal as the cop seeing the driver swerve gave her the reasonable articulable suspicion needed to initiate a traffic stop. Once she noticed he was slurring, had blood shot eyes, and she smelled alcohol and told him to step out of the vehicle he legally could not refuse. This guy was hammered out of his mind and thankfully was stopped before he had a DUI related crash and ended up hurting or killing one or more people.
