Holy shit. Every single one of those rounds he was firing off in the asphalt were shot at an extreme angle and wouldve been ricocheting into the parking lot. I wouldnt be surprised if multiple vehicles were hit, or even a innocent bystander.

At that angle anything is possible! If it were straight down 90, to maybe 30 it's not so bad but at just that slight angle it can send zingers literally anywhere in front of it, be it straight into the store, or 500 feet over it, pretty scary.

With the small size and very fast speed of 5.56 those bullets definitely became many small fragments with much less momentum after impacting the asphalt. Obviously still very dangerous for anyone exposed in that direction but not nearly as dangerous as fully intact bullets.

@@UniversitySecurity yes, but when you're facing a lethal threat, you very quickly lose any recourse but lethal force. i think the problem is naivety in how "effective" less lethal force really is, especially in the case of the taser, where it is quite literally a 50/50 shot it'll work. you have a 100% chance of a bullet at the least doing damage to a subject assuming you don't miss and the subject doesn't have meth or pcp induced superhuman abilities. the quicker people, especially police, accept lethal force when met with lethal force is absolutely okay no matter what the media thinks is the moment policing and self defense in america get 10x better.

That’s exactly what happened in Ferguson, MO (St.Louis) when Michael Brown was shot and killed by a cop. He wrestled with the cop for his gun and, well, Brown died. That’s what started the riots and the BLM movement. I know I’ll get backlash for this comment but it’s what happened. Wrestling with a cop for his weapon does not typically end well.

From my experience, it's usually the PD, courts, or whoever releases the footage that blurs it and edits everything out, not the channel posting it. It seems like it's impossible for any channel that focuses on police or military content with actual footage to be monetized regardless of how much they censor it (unless, of course, they're one of the "traditional" news media outlets.) So, from their perspective, censoring the videos doesn't really help with monetization. I believe most of these bodycam channels have to rely on patreon supporters to get paid. I'd think that they might still want to avoid getting age restricted, as that reduces the actual spread of the video, but I don't know if it's even possible for these kinds of videos not to get age restricted. On the point of the authorities censoring the footage, though, that's just stupid. It defeats the entire purpose of releasing it. Stop treating the general public like babies. Reality is fucking scary, stop enabling people to pretend like it's not.

@@fematrailer EWU does a pretty good job with body cam/investigation footage. Issue is that alot of what they cover is regarding very gruesome scenes so youtube would take it down immediately.

Multiple cops armed to the teeth running after him and his brilliant plan is to grab hold of a rifle he wouldn't be able to use in first place since it was strapped around the officer? lol Even if he did get a hold of the rifle, he was dead the moment he touched it.
