Holy shit. Every single one of those rounds he was firing off in the asphalt were shot at an extreme angle and wouldve been ricocheting into the parking lot. I wouldnt be surprised if multiple vehicles were hit, or even a innocent bystander.

At that angle anything is possible! If it were straight down 90, to maybe 30 it's not so bad but at just that slight angle it can send zingers literally anywhere in front of it, be it straight into the store, or 500 feet over it, pretty scary.

With the small size and very fast speed of 5.56 those bullets definitely became many small fragments with much less momentum after impacting the asphalt. Obviously still very dangerous for anyone exposed in that direction but not nearly as dangerous as fully intact bullets.

Crippling poverty, drug addiction, lack of education, gang affiliation, exposure to media culture that glorifies gang violence (not video games as they have been shown to actually lower violence levels in young people, but music videos and other media can have the opposite effect when exposed to young teens), and also exposure to environmental factors, like abusive/absent parents, heavy metals poisoning, and poor childhood nutrition. All of this circles back to poverty, by the way, as when it is corrected, it relieves a lot of these problems. So it is a societal flaw as much as it is that of the individual not striving to do better with the hand they are dealt.

Walmart has one of the most sophisticated security camera systems around. Starts when you walk in the main doors. The first cameras are right their, getting a nice look at your face. With facial recognition software, they know who is in their stores. Ever notice when police are looking for a suspect, they often turn up in a Walmart?

That’s exactly what happened in Ferguson, MO (St.Louis) when Michael Brown was shot and killed by a cop. He wrestled with the cop for his gun and, well, Brown died. That’s what started the riots and the BLM movement. I know I’ll get backlash for this comment but it’s what happened. Wrestling with a cop for his weapon does not typically end well.

@fematrailer
@fematrailer 3 ай бұрын
From my experience, it's usually the PD, courts, or whoever releases the footage that blurs it and edits everything out, not the channel posting it. It seems like it's impossible for any channel that focuses on police or military content with actual footage to be monetized regardless of how much they censor it (unless, of course, they're one of the "traditional" news media outlets.) So, from their perspective, censoring the videos doesn't really help with monetization. I believe most of these bodycam channels have to rely on patreon supporters to get paid. I'd think that they might still want to avoid getting age restricted, as that reduces the actual spread of the video, but I don't know if it's even possible for these kinds of videos not to get age restricted. On the point of the authorities censoring the footage, though, that's just stupid. It defeats the entire purpose of releasing it. Stop treating the general public like babies. Reality is fucking scary, stop enabling people to pretend like it's not.
