It is 100% because of my Apple Watch that I went and got tested for Lyme's after I got a ridiculous amount of low heart rate alerts in my sleep. If not for that, I could have had permanent issues as a result... But I do not, and I am forever grateful for that.

Retroactively looking at this after I am currently wearing a series 10 on my wrist, I gotta say…how did we think the magnetic band system would ever work? Imagine swimming with your wrists slapping the water and your band just pops off and falls to the bottom of the pool. I was swimming a couple weeks ago with a magnetic band on and it took half a lap before it came unclasped and I had to grab it before it sank to the bottom.

It could work, look up the fidlock system, it’s a bag clasp that uses magnets to lock & it can only be opened by sliding it apart. It’s hard to explain in text but it magnetically locks but the connection is physical one, not just held by the force of the magnet

if you charge watch at night then u r using it wrong anyways. charge it while taking shower and getting ready for work, that's enough time to take my watch 9 from 50-55% to 100% daily

Apple Watch needs minimum 7 day battery life. It’s leaps and bounds ahead (with these features) than my Garmin. Except my Garmin compiles data better, makes it more useful, and lasts 21-25 days with my OLED set to raise to wake. About 7 with always on. It’s totally possible. Apple just doesn’t want to do it. I would actually have a conundrum if Apple would release a watch with a week of juice.

The “new” band system you show doesn’t save space in the case. All it does is move the band attachment outside the watch. The actual thing the bands attaches to are still “inside” the watch just like the current bands are inside the watch.

look I understand the implications of the glucose monitor, but right the apple watch series 9 only takes the blood pressure by itself and it's not entirely accurate so if the glucose is kind of the same well i don't think is worth it, I know is better than nothing but also could give a false security that you have a accurate monitor and you really don't. I think we should wait until apple releases this and check if really works or not.
