An ex-Apple advisor told me that their software is riddled with bugs. If you think iOS is bad, macOS will shock you. It seems like they barely get one feature developed before rushing on to the next to keep up with the competition. Add in the pandemic, and they end up cycling through developers who have to make sense of the mess left behind by the previous ones and fix their code. Now, Apple’s ventured into finance for some reason, had a major flop with the Vision Pro, and was one of the last to embrace AI. The decisions they’ve made in recent years have been baffling, yet their fanbase still eats it up-$1,000 display stands and all. Their stock performance over the last few years says it all. I get why some people might feel the need to justify their $1,200 phone, convincing themselves it’s the best of the best, because admitting otherwise would mean acknowledging they don’t understand technology and have been duped by a company they’ve supported for years. This is exactly why aliens won’t talk to us.

I used to have a 13 pro and the weight was just too much to use for any length of time…I traded it for a 13 mini, but the battery is just too weak to last the day, so I traded that for a 16 and it is everything I want in a phone without all the drawbacks of the pro (weight, price)…. Loving my 16!

This video deserves at least a few tens of millions of views. I enjoyed watching it. Also, I was born a few months before Tim Cook joined Apple, so I do not know much about the man. I mean, I was still in school while the man was spearheading Apple into global dominance. Still, it would be best if you gave flowers where they're due. And he deserves his flowers. Some roles you choose, but some choose you. Tim was chosen for this very reason and Steve trusted his decision and now the world gives its stamp of approval. Apple forced other tech titans to shape up or risk getting shipped out. They introduced customer-centric services, and products and introduced them in a manner that was beautiful to look at, "easy to use", and also the products came with "some sort of status". In some instances, the difference between you and your competitor is how you make your users feel, and Apple's users arguably feel superior to their counterparts.

The bezels on this 16 model are absolutely HUGE! Even the cheapest Google offerings out there come with a 90or120Hz screens today, and Apple is WAY behind here! As you stated, IOS18 is mish-mosh of crap on top of crap and in the end still offers little customization to make one stand out from the other, meaning they all look the same no matter what. Samsung's ONE UI for example, you can completely customize and tweak every aspect and make your phone a unique experience that looks like nobody else's. Apple also completely missed the mark with AI hyping up features that aren't even available on its release and won't be available until next year sometime - WTF! Google and Samsung are light-years ahead of Apple and have had AI implemented for some time already. Overall, these "new" models are very underwhelming, especially the 16 model.

People were making fun of Apple to have features that were on Android for years. Now, people are complaining about Apple not releasing AI fast enough lol. I am planning to get the base unit to get into the apple ecosystem. Fiance has been an iOS user for years and still using here 12 PM.

It's amazing, never gets hot. never slows down. and does everything if not more than apple does today... Apple always promises updates and upgrades but fails to deliver... "Buy the new iphone it's gonna have this... jk you'll get that next year.. when YOU BUY OUR NEW PHONE....."...

i went from samsung (galaxy ace) to apple (iphone 5) to samsung (galaxy a5 and a33) back to apple (iphone 15pro). i was considering getting the new fairphone in the top trim because i line the concept of the device, repairability, open source etc. but due to a series of break ins in a professional manner into musicians vehicles and rehearsal spaces, with equipment at a total worth of mid-high 5figures stolen every time, i felt the need to cover my property in air tags, just to have some chance if tracing stolen goods at least for a while, and the android compatible tracking devices aren't as good as apples offering, so the choice fell back on the iphone.

He should have appointed Cook and Ives co-CEOs because cook has created great systems but he has killed Apple's creative soul. It is not the innovative company it used to be that could jump light years ahead of the competition again and again. It is now producing good quality uninspired stuff that doesn't really excite anyone.

Can't stand that company and their whole ecosystem. Working in IT, I can tell that I've had at least a 40 percent failure rate in ALL of their products including M1 and 2 laptops. I'll never personally invest in any of their products...EVER! Apple users generally aren't techies which is why they choose software that looks like it was built for children.
