Here We Come

A tune created by Paul Crompton and John Driver on Tuesday 20th February 2024.
This was an experiment in putting a guitar through a 24db Filter and VCA. The filter cutoff and VCA volume were then controlled by two envelope generators that were triggered by a gate sequencer. The guitar and bass guitar were then overdubbed with further recordings using different gate times and patterns.
So the melody was created by the guitar player, but the rhythm was created by the gate sequencer. This creates a kind of autowah effect that's linked to the overall tempo.
