SOOOO WIndy again. This show is insanely good. Sure, it has some flaws, but I genuinely enjoy all the aesthetics, the cast, all their interactions so much. Off the top of my head, I just can't remember a cast that clicked so well. Like please, go watch WIndy if you still haven't, we need S2. :( If you like westerns or even if you don't like them (like me), but enjoy period dramas, I think you'll love it. It's got a great attention to detail with clearly not the biggest of budgets, the cinematography, the costumes, everything about it is amazing. And pretty much all the characters are shippable, just saying… This fandom could use more vids. :D
ANYWAY. Calian and Abby had one short new scene, but what a beautiful scene it was! They support each other so much, and Calian is literally the only one who hasn't abandoned her. And she's learning Apache? Such a heartwarming scene in an otherwise pretty tense episode. I'm so confused at this point, I don't know if I ship her more with Calian or Tom (or Kate, but that ship seems a bit weird after Kate/Charlie). Unless they give a pretty good explanation for Tom's barn, I definitely don't see Tom/Abby working out in the long term, no matter how much chemistry they have. So it looks like they're setting the soulmate slow burn for Calian and Abby?.. idk I'm so confused by the ending of 1x09. Like all the shipping aside, I am still rooting for Tom's redemption arc, but I've no idea how they’re going to explain his um… Straight out of true crime tendencies? xD
Also I LOVE editing WIndy, it's almost like it edits itself. It’s just so pretty that no matter what you do with it, it ends up being pretty as well? I've said this before, but I usually hate adding text overlays, text is… Not my strong suit, no matter how much time I spend on it, but with WIndy it just falls into place beautifully. Um, hopefully beautifully? xD Allow me to be proud of my edit for once, okay? :D

When I watched the trailers I felt like she would end up with Hoyt, but then when I began watching the show I just didn’t see that happening because they have him with someone (Spanish girl, can’t remember her name) and he is very close to her family so not sure there could be an Abby and Hoyt. Then when it seemed Tom might not be as bad as we thought (except for torture barn) I thought the chemistry between Abby and Tom might lead somewhere. And it has, but his family is bad and he has a dark side. Now she could change him. But watching this video reminds me of the connection between Abby and Calian, and in the beginning when he helped her I thought something might happen between them. The show kinda moved him to the side even showing him being interested in the Spanish girl for an episode. But when she said to Calian it should not be a problem for him and her to be seen together and he said maybe one day, that gave me endgame feelings. They have a friendship that could lead to more. I would actually love to see this develop. It would be so sweet and would actually make sense how the Walker name continues since he gave her the name Walks in Tall Grass. Their love story could be so sweet ❤ Please give us this 🥰

FINALLY ANOTHER VID OF THESE TWO! I was starting to think I'd be paddling this ship myself here - only other vids I've seen are Tom x Abby. I totally agree with you that they might be setting up these two! I wouldn't mind Tom x Abby, but also the friendship between Abby and Calian is just something special. I mean they write themselves, practically - how can you not at least somewhat ship them? The two always being there for each other, even though they haven't known each other all that long. I'm hoping we get a season 2 because there's so much possibility for future storylines with everything about the show. -I'm also hoping if they DO become a thing, there's some sort of line from Gus or another character about how everyone already suspected they were a thing-

Well, ships with bad guys are always more popular, so it’s not that surprising. But I think there are actually just as many vids with Calian as there are with Tom… which is like, a total of 4? Why isn’t this show more popular is beyond me. 😿 Abby and Calian are amazing, the way they unconditionally support each other is so precious, and the show writing them as if the fate itself brought them together - they do look like the endgame setup if we ever get there. I need this show to go on, like I wish I could contribute to the ratings, but I’m not from US, so pretty much all I can do is make vids and try to rally other people to watch it. Which doesn’t seem to work that well, but at least I tried…

@ForsakenWwitchery I think streams on their website are also taken into account with the CW. I'm also not in the US so I use a VPN to stream each week ^^

@@mairiyu that might be the case, but my in browser vpn just can't load even the player on the CW's website. :( and that's only with the US server on it, the other ones work faster, but with them you can't watch either. 🥲

That was wonderful!💖 I ship Calian and Abby pretty hard!💘 Your video clips demonstrated the reasons why pretty well. They bring out the best in each other. They believe in and support each other when no one else will. Their ways of looking at the world is quite similar even with their very different backgrounds. They seem to really understand each other. That reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Once Upon a Time, "You can't love someone, you don't understand." Calian and Abby keep saving each other's lives and have made it clear they won't hesitate to put themselves at risk for the other's well being 😍 Abby's learning Apache for Calian! 🥰 I figured Abby would like to end up with Calian because that seems the only way the 'Walker' name would continue on. Calian has no last name technically. It's also sweet that he gave her the Walker name by naming her 'Walks In Tall Grass,' after he saved her life from Tom's attempted murder of it. I see some people like Abby with Tom, but I don't know how they could ever end up together after Tom helped murder her husband, Liam Collins, and in her attempted murder. Tom stalking and spying on Abby before they met super creeped me out! 😱 I think Tom went way too far for him and Abby to ever end up together. I could see Abby forgiving Tom someday if they gave him a redemption arc, but not more than that. I binged the whole first season on HBOMax, or I guess it's just Max now. It was AMAZING! 😍🤩🥰 I really hope we get another season! The CW has canceled the majority of it's scripted shows. That whole network is moving towards reality tv instead. I hope this show can find a new home somewhere else and get the massive fandom it deserves! My mom watched it on the CW while it aired and adored it! I've been telling my friends to watch it now too!

Yah, loved this! I think I'm in the same confused boat as you are, haha! Abby's had moments with every character and I am confused about who I'm supposed to be shipping her with exactly cuz I like her with everyone. When I first started the show I kind of just assumed her and Hoyt were going to be the main couple (and Matt Barr does have second billing) but so far, that's not gone anywhere. I imagine if this show does manage to extend out into multiple seasons that she'll have a season with everyone as a love interest. And like you mentioned, it does seem like her and Calian are a slow burn endgame.

Thank you! :) I remember watching the trailers and they had a lot of Hoyt/Abby scenes, so I was 100% sure he was going to be Abby’s love interest, but they didn’t… idk, click for me romantically even in the trailers. Looking back now (and having watched two seasons of Walker this month), I guess Hoyt was such a huge part of promotion because he was in Walker. But yeah, since there was a Hoyt Rawlins in the main show, I have no idea how a Hoyt/Abby ship can even happen in WIndy. That and I’ve yet to see a single person who actually ships them? Everyone seems to be rooting either for Calian or Tom, and the torture barn doesn’t give Tom any brownie points in the long run. BUT it’s like they make this whole thing purposefully confusing. Katie Findlay said that "every single person on the cast has like shipped each other", and I’m sure she wasn’t fully serious, but sometimes it sure seems like it’s not just a joke. :D Like if I woke up tomorrow and suddenly decided I wanted to do a Gus/Kate or a Hoyt/Gus or idk literally anyone/anyone vid it would probably come across as the real ship to the people who aren’t watching WIndy. The whole cast bounces off each other so well you can pair just about anyone and it would make for a great bromance or romantic ship.

Yes! Billy Wirth! Blast from the past. But he has a little more warmth and earthiness than BW. Believe me- not dissing Billy. When I first saw him in The Lost Boys I thought God must have thrown an archangel out of heaven. But he was so beautiful and so perfect physically- like a super model. He seemed a little distant and unattainable-- but great to look at, for sure.
