After 'High Civilization' the album 'Size isn't everything' was like a fresh breath of air. Don't get me wrong, I like the 'High Civilization' album. It's just there are some "difficult" songs on there. That's different on size. Great tracks from start to finish. I can't remember if you already did "Heart like mine" from this album. You can hear MO on lead here kind of like Man in the Middle. All that spooky stuff was just window dressing for when a man is just finding out how much a woman can have on him when he falls in love and how scared he gets. It's his over reaction to the feeling of falling in love. The same feeling as Kiss of Life where he feels like he's "being buried alive". Love MO and Robin singing together on this.

OMG I can give you all some very interesting information on this song. I with my wife and son was lucky enough to to be in the London studios with them when they were mixing this song. In the middle it had a beautiful acoustic guitar solo. Maurice told me it was one of the Eagles but I didn’t find out which one. I heard the song about 7 times, siting next to Barry dunking biscuits in our tea. Surreal It was an unbelievable moment in my life. He asked me what I thought and I jokingly said rubbish! The incredible thing is, when the album was complete, the acoustic guitar had gone! I Love this song, so very special to me.

That sounds wonderful. I would like to have heard that guitar solo. I believe the Eagles recorded at Criteria around the same time as the brothers.

I love you, don’t want to forget you, and am so sorry that I let you down.... Have wondered if they had Andy in mind. Barry said the family had been advised to have tough love by rehab experts, but with what they know now, wish they would have done things differently. This is what he is referring to when he says he wasn’t getting on with Andy when he died.... while living in Robin’s historic home... which is said to be haunted. When you’re ready to react to something a little on the lighter side, please consider reacting to TECHNICOLOR DREAMS.

Herman Melville, author of "Moby Dick", the great white whale...One of Mo's nicknames was "Moby"...Hmmmm. A little subliminal message there??? The intro reminds me of the song "Tubular Bells". Great eerie visuals, music and overall atmosphere in this song. "Like a lamb to slaughter"...yikes! Love the high ghostly chanting @6:21. Barry has said his home in Miami is now a "Haunted House" because he often hears his brothers' voices and once saw Robin, clear as day, walk down the hall from the front door. When he followed him he disappeared. Robin's home was an 800+ year old haunted monastery, the Prebendal. Now that could be scary. It was where Joan of Arc was sentenced to death. It's older than Westminster Abbey but he said "minus the bodies". The photo @5:21 could be at his home.

I listened to this whole album before I went to sleep late last night. Surprise! I had purchased it already! I don’t think this is a Bee Gees video though - I think maybe it was made by someone else? I’m not sure if it’s physically haunting like dead or metaphorically dead like she left him. I think the latter but I’m not sure. The speaking part is cool. One tiny part of lyric that caught my attention last night was “emotional suicide.” I’ve heard of “emotional affair,” and I get that, but I never heard emotional suicide before. It’s a cool phrase. Mystery novels? That’s another reason you’re the true brother I never had. We have that in common, but my FAVORITE author - a few steps up - is Stephen King. But I love most of this album and like the rest.

I'm not sure, but I think the slide show is a fan project. Not crazy abount some of the images, but great song. I read Barry said it was about divorce. OMG his speaking voice gives me shivers. They are poets. I can't get enough of "Size." (Got your reference to Melville - What can I say, I am giggling like a 13 year old. The same Yamaha makes an appearance in "When He's Gone") Here's something weird. I heard a Q&A video with the Gibb cousins, and when asked what work of your fathers did you not like, Barry's son Stephen said he just didn't care for "Size." He didn't really say why. I'm not understanding that. I love this album. BTW. High Civilization is really great. Lot of heavy drumming and electronics. It got almost no promotion by Warners since it was at the end of their contract.
