Chad - When asked in a Canadian interview about their knack for writing romantic lyrics and if they were that romantic at home, their replies were: Barry - Woman, mop the floor. Maurice - Put on the kettle. Robin - Oh yes, I'm like the bard of Avon. My sweet, my darling rose, how long ya' gonna be in the bathroom?"

Hope you had a nice easter weekend. But I think most of us here missed you last weekend. I love this song and I listen to it nearly every day. But besides the smooth melody, the lyrics and the harmonies what impresses me most is the great way they aged. They turned from cute boys to very good-looking , cool and sexy best aged men. Love this

I haven't listened to the Still Waters album for a while. I am getting it out now. Thank you Chad. Barry's voice melts me. As always, harmonies drive their work, but I notice on this one the beautiful unison sections are so perfect, it makes the harmonies even better. "Owners of My Soul!!!" I am glad you could not love it more.

This is kind of like the pre disco era but their sound is more matured. Pre disco they wrote mostly love songs then. Maybe that's so many were turned off by their disco music. Very soft sounding song. Easy to listen to. The video was interesting too. Were the couple the little kids in the video?

It's a soft love song. They do great love songs. 💘 lol, come on you've heard them sing love songs Chad, or maybe, not yet 🤔 Hmm, I checked, you're kinda short on love ballads you'll catch up. 47 songs of the Brothers so far if my count is correct, but they wrote a long time, Barry is still going 😉

You spoke about their banger 'Tragedy'. But I'll tellya, that's not their hardest style. Also 'I Could Not Love You More' isn't their softiest one. Just check out 'Heavy Breathing' and at next 'King And Country', so that'll be even more difference from hard to soft.

Same with me! This song is just too dang softy-soft!!😜 It's ALL fluff with no deep emotion or feeling! Send Robin in if you're gonna do a ballad! He will bring in the feels!! It is absolutely the weakest one on their album. That said, if you're just looking for a soft, fluffy, pretty summer love-song with whispers and sighs then you won't be disappointed!😉
