Fantastic video. Typical Bee gees, poking fun at themselves for our entertainment. So sad when Robin said that they had a long time to go and two years later Maurice dies. This is a great album and I love that Maurice gets to show what he could do, twice. Love love this. Thanks Chad x

Thank you J1 and J3 for the request. Sincerely, J2 😂 Thank you Chad to you as well for the great reaction and great weekend, have a fantabulous birthday party with your beautiful daughter. To see them in the making of any song is just fantastic, they allow us all to get immerse in their magic, sense of humor, professionalism, everything. Barry: 'Looking forward to the group continuing on' Robin: 'We still have a long time to go' Maurice: 'I love what we are doing, if not I'll just retire' I just felt like crying after their comments, this is so extremely sad, a lot of planning and in the end for nothing at all, so sad.

I wish they could still be here like Robin and Maurice said. It's unfortunate that this was really the last album that they made as a group before MO passed and then Robin. Can you imagine the great music we would still be getting? There was an interview with their mom where she said that Barry would be in a nursing home and the boys as she called them would tell him they heard their music on the radio. Then again Barry said he doesn't see them doing concerts when their 70s. Look at the Stones. No new music but their old music is reaching new younger ears and so goes the Bee Gees and the Beatles. You can't beat the classics and today's music will never be able match the talent of the 60s and 70s because lighting rarely strikes twice in the same place. This period of music will still be played long after the 60s kids are gone and what a great thing to think about as we get older.

In additional to their extreme talent as song writers and performers, you can tell from their interactions that they had a lot of fun together and had a deep seated love for each other. Wonderful reaction! Thank you, Chad.

Chad, I don't even know what to say about this "making of" video. I watch when I want a lift, because it's just down right funny. These guys could cut up, be crazy and silly, but once work on the music started they were all business. I love a small glimpse into their personalities and relationships. I wish we had more time with all of them. Thanks. See you in a couple of weeks.

Mentioned it before, the VW van they drove around Australia as teens. Only Barry had a license, but people said the twins were seen behind the wheel too. Somehow, given their rascal reputations as kids (despite Mo calling himself Mr Goody 2 Shoes), I can picture it.
@janicetrimmell68972 жыл бұрын
I don't know the legal driving age in England, but once Mo was talking about first being with Lulu, and how she would drive him, because he didn't have a license yet. She was a year or so older, but I don't know if it was just getting the test taken, or age. Mr. Goody Two Shoes didn't participate in some of the more terrorist pranks, but he got some of his own fun in. - and I expect they both drove - legal or not.

What a great video to end our fabulous weekend with, Chad! Their humor is like no other in the world. One might call it British humor but I simply call it Bee Gees humor, so unique and wonderful! You must react to the MTV "Bingo Wall of Death" video from 1993. Talk about humor. It's loaded with it and then some. Again, Chad, wish that sweet girl of yours a very Happy Birthday from all of her 3L family. We'll miss you next week but will be waiting patiently for your return the following weekend. Take care.

Clear to see, all three of them where high on health and creativity. Makes me sad to realise what we have missed. And to know, that the death of Maurice was based on a wrong diagnosis. Every doctor with a better knowing, would have saved his life. Just like it lateron happened to Robin, having the same problem with twisted intestine. In their so happy Aussie-times, Maurice wrote and sang a song called 'All By Myself'. I'm gonna hear it right now!
