she's so right. being trans rn is so weird. no matter how 'selfish' you are in wanting to live your own life, there's so much horrible stuff going on rn. The fact that some of us want to live our own lives is being seen as selfish, but nobody else would see a cis person simply wanting to live as selfish. it's so weird and hard rn, planning for the future feels futile since there's no telling what's next

On the issue of whether it's fair for you to have a career and get rich while other trans people are suffering: I think it wouldn't be fair if you couldn't have a career and get rich just because other trans people are suffering. Plus, you do quite a bit to lift other trans people up with you, for example casting some of them in your play.

It would be really cool to see more art projects supported by Nebula, especially for smaller creators (which would be more risky financially, but I think it can work)

Are you referring to the part where she mentions the PhilosophyTube video "Data?"
@LeonSzneider Жыл бұрын
@@Kidzelda0 There part where she says she once made this film called 30 seconds about people being able to go back and change their decisions and then the implications of that
@Draconargentum Жыл бұрын
@@LeonSzneider I think you mean the moment at 36:25. She was referring to her youtube video, "Data," which is available on her channel. The conceit of that video is that the characters 'rewind' to earlier in their conversation when they reach a philosophical dead end.

I HAVE BEEN SQUINTING AT THAT FUCKING IDENTITY VIDEO TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY YOU LOOKED SO WEIRD SINCE I WATCHED IT. GOD. I'd mostly convinced myself that that was actually one of your brothers. Somehow it didn't occur to me until right now to check the doobly-doo.

What's wrong with showing up on an e-scooter to the Oscars? Abi could easily pull that off. Better yet a hoverboard, using her Metatron voice to shoo the paparazzi away. In a floor length gown, floating in an ethereal fashion down the red carpet. Then again she'd be equally fab if she showed up hung over in the trunk of a friend's beat up '97 Mazda, wearing a n HP sauce-stained t-shirt and a garbage bag. 🌟🌟🌟

Abigail is so wonderfully brilliant, humble, and caring. She's a gift to the world far beyond being a KZbinr and actress. She defies old classification, and that's a good thing. Abby is a model for the future of humanity where we question and throw away our labels and fear and lack of sovereignty and just be who we are. Unique, compassionate, powerful, and connected. Just purely our bright shining selves in all our unique magnificence. Thank you Abby for ALL you do and who you are. ❤
