This song isn't just any song. This is one of those songs that only come around once in a lifetime. Completely original! The hook is brilliant. Come on. "Offend my mind"??? That alone grabbed me. I have now listened to it so many times and it never gets old. I just keep hitting repeat. The attention to detail here is very evident in your produced version, both your original and reimagined. You guys really are a powerhouse of talent and most importantly, ANOINTED! Wow. The only problem I have with this song is that I didn't write it first! 😁🥰

Gable I’m hooked. The song is so much more than a song. It’s what I listen to to push threw daily. Sometimes 3-4 times. I shared this song to everyone I know. Thank you and your band for spreading the message of Jesus Christ! It’s Much Much more than a song, God please offend my mind with anything that displeases you... Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [but seek to please Him], by whom you were sealed and marked [branded as God’s own] for the day of redemption [the final deliverance from the consequences of sin].

In short, God has used your music - and especially this song - to change my life. Musically, it's raised my expectations of all the music I listen to. You are all such consummate musicians. Lyrically, your messages are deep, witty, poignant, and loaded with much needed Gospel truth. Who else rocks out singing about repentance? Yet prayer and repentance have always been the catalysts for the real revival everyone needs. Thank you for being artists who listen to the Holy Spirit. I hope and pray other artists will follow your example.

I have a speech delayed child and I noticed that she would be glued to speaker whenever I played this. I don't care where she is in the house. She will leave her cartoons to come and listen to this. She will just stand in front of the speaker and sway to the beat as if she understands every word. This song communicates something to her beyond words. The other night she was inconsolable and the thought hit, play "Heretic" and I did. In less than two minutes she was calmed and asleep. I'm telling you, this song has an anointing and a clear message from the Lord. It stays on repeat and It never gets old. Just wanted to let you know that your biggest fan is a two year old. Bet you don't hear that everyday. 😂🙌

I love this song for so many reasons, but I one of the biggest is that it’s a CHALLENGE to all believers. It’s a question: could I be just like the pharisees thinking I know it, but missing God before me. It’s asking to be offended, to be challenged in our thinking to have the heart of God the WAY HE SEES IT. Not the way we think He is. Thank you for this song. Been listing to it a good long while and it still hits home every time.

Dear Gable Price and Friends, I truly love your music. But I just want to say, THIS song here is my favorite song of all time. It’s truly perfect. When I listen to it I say “oh I love this part” like 5 times. I’ve concluded the whole thing is my favorite part lol. The anointing this song carries is incredible. The lyrics and instruments sound like my heart and thoughts on a daily basis. The first time I listened to this, I didn’t realize that a heavy spirit had attached itself to me. When this song began to play, i was like oh my God this is beautiful. And Gable, there was a note you sang that broke that oppression that was on me. I literally felt that spirit lift off of me. It was the perfect example of when David played for king Saul and the evil spirit departed from him. Thank you Gable and friends. God bless you all and never stop letting the spirit flow through you music. This song has really helped me and I sing it everyday. Highest Love from your brother in Christ, Keno

This song is so deep and rich with the same contradictions I have in my own mind. "Tell me directly, am I just a modern pharisee? Do my thoughts scream a renewed mind or just words I speak?" I think these very thoughts myself. I consider myself a heretic to my own beliefs at times! As they evolve from faith to faith... as I fall away, thinking I've got it all wrong, to Him bringing me back to seeking Him. Struggling to know Him I find the more I search, the more questions I have. He breaks me down in so many ways. I wonder how much more I can take. This song was really good. Excellent music as well! Thanks for sharing it, fellas. God bless.

This might be my favorite song of all time. It's powerful, riveting, and challenging. Sometimes when I listen to it, all I can do is just stare in silence as I reflect on my life. Who is God to me? How much does he actually mean to me? No really, think about it. How many times do we wake up, go throughout our daily lives, and fail to even think about God? Like, the Creator of our entire universe. The one who knows every hair on your head. Every star in the sky by name. Every thought anyone has ever had. This is our God, and yet, I can't help but remember how many times I neglect to even mention his name on my lips... If I'm a true born-again Christian, what am I actually doing to set myself apart from the rest of the world, to the point that I'm radiating the love of Christ to others? Am I just a modern day Pharisee? And honestly, this shakes me to my core. It should shake us all to conviction. I have this grace inside of me; this good news that God has given me. And yet, I just keep it to myself and go about my daily life as if nothing's changed, as if I'm not a changed man through God. How selfish of me to hold back the Gospel, to hold back life-saving truth from others! Do my thoughts scream a renewed mind, or just words I speak? The beauty of this song though, is that it reminds me that, despite my rebellious nature towards God, despite all wrong I could ever do, He still loves me, and he loves you, SO MUCH, that he seeks after us! This is love we CANNOT fathom, but we can only sit in silence and adore, because it should leave us utterly speechless. Do I truly love God like this? Do my thoughts and actions scream the good news of Jesus Christ? Offend my mind, God, so I can know you more...

Everything about this song... Is surreal there is literally a spiritual battle for everyone's minds; our attention; our time. Whatever distracts us from spending quality time with God. This world is full of distractions every turn there's a screen & because of these unnecessary distractions there's never enough time in the day because almost of us get sucked into the abyss of the world wide web ... I read an article from NordVPN expertise the average internet user in the US will spend 21 years, 4 months, and 29 days online across the course of their life... 21 years of our life wasted we could be spending it with God.

You are the empire The promised land beneath my feet The contrast, that offends my firm theology We tried to fit your ways In the boxes humans made So either you're a heretic Or you're the son of God You are the relapse Of quiet streams and greener paths The foot-notes, of ancient words our language lacks We could scribble out the notes in the books that your friends wrote Cause either everyone's a heretic Or they've heard the voice of God Ooooh Offend my mind so that I can know you more And break my heart so it looks more like yours Offend my mind so that I can know you more Offend my mind Offend my mind You are the contrast A tender word and a stomach leap The constant, offending Greek mythology Capitalize the "G" in the name of He who bleeds You really resurrect me Tell me directly, am I just a modern pharisee Do my thoughts scream a renewed mind or just words I speak And if you walk into my home and you make your glory known Would my tears soak your feet Or would I crucify you Ooooh Offend my mind so that I can know you more And break my heart so it looks more like yours Offend my mind so that I can know you more Offend my mind Ooooh Offend my mind so that I can know you more And break my heart so it looks more like yours Offend my mind so that I can know you more Offend my mind Ooooooh Prophet and the priest Crucify my disbelief The divine reminds me of the hope inside me Oooooh Counter of the stars Resurrect my broken heart The contrast soothes my mind You're the earth that I reside in I break the rules, you break the silence I see the power in your eyes You're glorious, I'm terrified A grain of sand upon an island The real estate inside your eyelids I'm a tooth inside a smile I'm the soul you reconciled Would you offend my mind Offend my mind Offend my mind Offend my mind Would you offend my mind Offend my mind Ooooh Offend my mind so that I can know you more And break my heart so it looks more like yours Offend my mind so that I can know you more Offend my mind Ooooh Offend my mind so that I can know you more And break my heart so it looks more like yours Offend my mind so that I can know you more Offend my mind Offend my mind

3-4 x’s a week 74 weeks in a row bible study shows up exactly on Sunday sermons at church. Amazing. Using this song, this was my prayer answered. Going through major problems with 7 kids and CoVID effects. Wishing I would have taken proverbs advice to store up, I still saw God come through from people who did! With the right to cut off, Rom. 11:23, the elect, and even elect angels, after the big choice to leave the bridegroom Jesus, he does have a limit or a point. I decided to activate Hosea 11 and roar more, when I saw more problems, because My heart is broke, and I learned when things got worse He roared more and came back harder. I had to change my mind, find his, and he answered Hosea 11 after exile was how he had to answer, and wanted the same from me Through Godcidences. I wanted to “know him more”, didn’t want the answer. This Jamming out is like ramping up to fire up the roar. I listen to it daily. Thanks. Roar more, Hosea 11. That is like knowing Him more after I was offended.
