This brings back memories of seeing this in a friend's grandparent's house when I was a child in the early-to-mid 1990s in San Jose CA. There's a couple, one a 36" and the other a 42" for sale on Ebay....I should buy one. But I need them flush mounted.

I always thought that the white and brass spinners were neat. Always cool to find an old fan unused in the box.

They're nice economy fans.

I always liked these cheap spinners of this style.
@JordanU8 жыл бұрын
Me too,, except when they're so cheap that the bearings spoil in a matter of minutes.. LOL

Once I saw one at a ReStore but I didn't grab it because it was really rusty.

I don't think anyone will be too upset about that.. These are pretty cheap..

How good is the performance on heritage fans I’ve been wanting to get one for a while but I’m unsure because I often hear mixed reviews.

Do you have any other fans in your basement other than that one? ;-)
Do you know how to do wiring because I think you’re good at it
@JordanU5 жыл бұрын
What kind of wiring?

What country was this manufactured in

If it's not documented in the video, then I don't know. Probably the China.

one of my favorite parts about heritage ceiling fans is the startup sound and motor whine,you won't find that on your $400 casablanca ceiling fans.
@JordanU7 жыл бұрын
The startup sound is neat,, but the other noises I could do without..
@joshd86247 жыл бұрын
Jordan U maybe if you put some zoom spout oil or wd40 in the bearings the bearing noise will disappear,also,considering its new in the box,you might wanna run it on high for 24 48 hours,because MOST fan noises associated to a brand new one that has never been used will disappear over this time.
@JordanU7 жыл бұрын
If I were to consider installing this somewhere I'd let it run for a while and see what happens.. Its entirely possible the noise has to do with the bearings breaking in..
@joshd86247 жыл бұрын
Jordan U at my old house we had a harbor breeze breezeway in the kitchen,and it made that same bearing noise on high medium and low,3 days later the bearings were silent as a cats paw,the only noise you hear from the fan was the wind Noise and a very quiet buzzing,we have it in a box in our garage as well as a harbor breeze unknown model,they are not mine, but might be mine one day.

We now know the correct spelling! Everyone used to think it was spelled "Fernaux".
@JordanU8 жыл бұрын
Who thought that? I didn't..
@CeilingFanVideosOnYT8 жыл бұрын
+Jordan U Zachary Yarnes and he told others what it was called. But at least we finally got correct spelling.

The Channel of Random Ceiling Fans That is one person,, not all! Do not exaggerate.. That's lying..
@CeilingFanVideosOnYT8 жыл бұрын
To be clear, others thought it was spelled "Fernaux" just because Zachary thought it was and he told others.

The Channel of Random Ceiling Fans Its still pretty blurry.. Just like something else I can think of!

Wow, the warranty is still valid lol
@JordanU8 жыл бұрын
I was almost thinking of trying to claim the warranty due to the bearing problem.. Not sure if they would still honor it..
@SRCVintageElectronics8 жыл бұрын
Who knows, I think you need the receipt though
@JordanU8 жыл бұрын
SRCVintage Electronics Quite possibly.. I doubt they make this fan anymore anyways,, so I'd probably be out of luck for getting a replacement one..
@SRCVintageElectronics8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I remember seeing fans of this same style in stores and its at least been 10 years since Ive last seen one
@JordanU8 жыл бұрын
SRCVintage Electronics These style fans are generally long gone here in the US,, but in other parts of the world they are still plenty popular and readily available..
