It's definitely a buyer's market right now not a sellers market for sure.

This auction was interesting. I definitely think time could not have been worse, had this auction taken place 6 months ago I think we would have seen much higher sales. Also you hit the nail on the head when talking about the lack of buyer education leading into this sale.

I agree that Heritage's auction format is hard to get through as you have to sit through this long session before your book you want to bid on comes up, but great to see so many foreigns nonetheless. And that Brazilian Journey into Mystery 1st Loki was a mistake high prebid because it was me and wasn't able to change it before auction but someone still ran it up high. The sale was canceled and you'll probably see it pop up again somewhere.

Hi Steve Thanks for al the great info and shows that you put up on KZbin 😊 I have been noticing that the Swedish keys generally fetch a higher price than the same Danish counterparts even though they are produced the same year, place etc. Do you have any idea how that is? In my opinion it should be the other way around as the market/population in Denmark is almost half of the Swedish market and the comics should then be harder to come around and be more scarce in supply. Do you have any insight that you can offer?

Just from my experience but I have found it easier to find Danish key comics compared to Swedish.. i have no clue on the print runs but it’s has just proved easier to source the Danish comics.. possibly more sellers in Denmark so they have been able to bring more comics to the foreign market 🤷‍♂️ thanks for watching!

I also think that it will change as more and more people get into foreign comics and finds out the different sizes of the country, their comic market and history of comics as in what condition the comics can be expected to be found in.
