There's not a lot on this subject on KZbin, the Heritage Men's Style, so here I am starting it for us so we can discuss it.
Selvedge or Selvage is a huge part of men's heritage style. Let's discuss the terminology used in selvedge jeans.
Many men's styles are focused on current trends but I found myself going back to this heritage style over and over again. If you are finding yourself coming back to this heritage way of style then embrace it and let's do it right together.
This channel is about boosting men's confidence, especially men in their forties or later. It also applies to any men, I mean real MEN that aren't afraid to wear what they want!

Well done, Chris. Lots of terms to consider when navigating the denim world. The only thing I would add is about weight of the denim. It can be confusing when trying to decide which jeans to consider... even within one maker, there can be several different weight options. It seems that most selvedge jeans come in mid-weight (12-14oz) or heavier weight (18-25oz). There is another funny term out there called slubbing, that describes a sort of pebbling like appearance of the fabric. This is a whole new world to me, so I really appreciate your videos. Thanks for the great content!

Check out Vidalia Mills. They got all of the Cone Mills looms and started making US selvage again. They even use e3 sustainable cotton from local farms. I just bought jeans from GAP for $99 that used their denim. Carl Murawski just posted a video about Vidalia today too.

I got a pair of iron heart 634 there a little tight on the boys do they end up stretching enough for that not to be an issue

@@Tiger24kicks Sounds like a plan. I did have riding gear when I was overseas on a sport bike. I am probably not the guy to follow riding my Harleys because a T-Shirt, denim, and boots are all it takes to have fun here lol..
