Despite whatever changes, that this famed ship has undergone, what remains is its intrinsic spirit.

A very good report, competent and understandable speech, not even for marine specialists. It became clear that the "Victoria" is a real treasure of the era of sailing warships and the most interesting secrets and discoveries are waiting for us in the future ... By the way, in early 2000, somewhere in the Norwegian countries, a fully preserved wooden sailing warship was raised right at the pier and sawed off research, now the ship is in the indoor museum in the same place. Perhaps their results could help you in the Victoria study... to draw some parallels, or something like that....

Don’t forget to hit the Like button when you come on. It helps monetarily.

you would think they would put these rare and valuable ships under a large glass warehouse shelter rather than to the elements of UK weather.

I understand your thinking but the cost of building such a structure that would encompass the masts to full height would be enormous, and look completely incongruous. Also, unlike the Mary Rose which sits alongside, the Victory can close hatches etc and not be open to the weather.

Was there anyone listening to this…possibly the most boring speaker ever..

No offence but I rather would want a very enthusiastic person presenting this. The ship is a marvellous time capsule and I’ve always been captured by the history of the ages of sail, but listening to this man is making me rather sleepy.

I set the video on 1.5 speed and it's much better, makes the speaker sound like he's actually awake and had some coffee. Nearly unbearable before, poor chap sounded like a clockwork robot that needed winding.

Listening makes me want to fall asleep…the speaker could be a bit more dynamic rather than being so lethargic!!!

Wow… 5 minutes in and I’m falling asleep, there’s a huge difference between being passionate and understandable, he needs a little a little coaching , it’s interesting, really but monotone, I’ve come across similar speakers at conferences, one managed to talk about traffic lights, for two hours without one coloured image? No figure, everyone fell asleep
