I was the Tower crane operator in the big beautiful blue tower crane that built that Heritage tower .I was also present on the grand hotel and when they shut it down we were about 4 floors up on the mulberry tower ..1983-87

Interesting tour. I've always been fascinated with this place. It's nothing short of a miracle to see all those old buildings brought back to life again. They were all falling apart 15 years ago. The Barn auditorium actually had giant holes all in the roof and the Upper Room n studio were pretty bad as well.

Thank you so much for this video!! I was on the edge of my seat every minute. I would love to walk around the grounds with Marty! I just drove through there tonight. I’ve been obsessed with the history of Heritage USA for years.

Sad to see the end of what once was so wonderful be taken away. But Glad to see some things were saved and restored and still are in use.

I live right here near the ministries office! I had no idea what it was there for. I work for Instacart and ive delivered to the walnut lodge and campgrounds many times! So sad and I wish I could’ve seen it in all its glory! Netflix should make a documentary about all this history back here.

So sad to see it so vacant. Wish it were still around today, we really need a Christian place like this to bring our families to and enjoy. They were ahead of their time! But the devil ruined it :(

Jim ruined it by making bad decisions. He was human, but so much of it revolved around him that it never survived his own fall. A lot of good folks got hurt in the process.

I live in Oregon, and am considering soon making a pilgrimage of sorts to the Heritage village property just to be where the Bakkers had been. I know it's kinda silly, but I love the Bakkers, and PTL, and would love to be in the place where all the action happened.
