I lost my cavalier too on the 26/11/21. I am still crying about my baby. I miss him so much. He had personality traits from both Milton and herky. He was very determined. He was mummy’s boy. He loved me endlessly and I love him endlessly.

Such a cute video and I love hearing about their personalities and their differences. My 9 month old Cav Calvin has similar traits to both, but overall he has so much energy! He hardly ever naps and basically never wants to chill because he always wants to be playing. It can be tough at night when I'm trying to sleep and he keeps climbing on me with toys!

Part 2 part 2! 😄 This was so fun!! Rumple I would say is a lot closer to Milton in personality (needy/cuddly, loves to play and likes other dogs) but he’s closer in size/weight, and eating habits to Herky ☺️💖 love those girls!

Soo typical I think of eating poop. I caught my puppy Maddison eating stray cat poop the other day. I grabbed her, scolded her and quickly brought her in the house and washed her mouth out very good. Ugh! Then I washed her muzzle with her shampoo. Her mouth stunk like poo! Yuck! Anyway, soo soo cute video on different personalities on Herky + Milton. I was worried about Maddie not gaining much weight at all. It seems I have to encourage her to eat. Vet said she's ok as far as her weight for her age. (16 wks.) She'll be a small Cavalier for sure! We're getting ready for obedience classes next Saturday for 12 wks. She needs them plus I want her socializing with other dogs. Great video as always! 💘

Thanks for the continued videos they are entertaining and informative.....my cav is very much like Herky with eating everything especially pieces of bark from the planters or anywhere she can find them. My cav is a little on the larger size (big bone girl) and it's my fault with too many treats and not enough exercise. Can you do a video on the diet you put Herky through or provide some info on a good diet, its seems like my cav is always starving and just wants to eat and eat......

milton reminds me of my little beagle puppy :) he is a bit harder to put weight on, he bullies his brother (although this has stopped now for the most part since he has been going to daycare and playing with other more energetic dogs) , he's picky with food (only new food, never his breakfast or dinner which he wolfs down) and he is a generally active little dog :) maybe having a little doggy friend for milton to play with regularly would help :) part two would be fun :)

Hi herky and milton! I'm harley! I have a brother called hayden😄 our differences to each other is i'm more playful and i like to swim!😊 in the other paw hayden like's to lay down and just sit there...but when he see's a ball he's tale is gonna wag😅 but he like's too be really cozy! But our master says we are the same because he loves us equally and he's love are the same for us😁 we love you😊💞💕

You described my 2 chihuahuas to a T Haha I bought my first at 20 for me she ended up loving my boyfriend, is shy towards people and dogs, she chooses him over me, spreads her self when sleeping, loves paper, ect. But she can't gain weight!! Secondly Zoey she is a best! She is always picking on Roxy, always needs her mommy, loves finding new friends, will cuddle 24/7, can gain weight like a crazy pup, very agressive when it comes to anything aka food or toys sometimes me XD... I told my man I wanted a dog who loved me more than him and i got that haha ONE DAY I WILL HAVE CAVILER KING CHARILES THO!! this is my dream dog! I want a tri color male who I will name joey

Wow, I also have two Cavies, one which is 6 and the other 1, and their personnalities are so similar to what you are describing, the older one being more of cry baby, the younger one being a bit of a bully to the older one and barking for no reason when she hears or sees something she doesn't understand. The only difference is that it's the youngest one which is obsessed with eating the grossest things on the street.

Love Herky and Milton and your videos! I would love a cav so much. Have never had a dog, but have always had cats. Now have 2 ragdoll kitties. I think Herky's habit of shredding toilet rolls is very cat-like. My cats have always loved to do that, along with shredding paper towels. I have to hide the toilet rolls and paper towels from them, otherwise there will be nothing left when I need them. As far as Herky's habit of eating anything she finds on the ground during walks, can you put a muzzle on her for walks? Is that mean? As I said, I've never had a dog, so I don't know. All I know, is I'd flip if my pet ate poop!

Herky The Cavalier we are often having to buy wet food in many different flavours to mix it with her kibbles, otherwise she would leave her food for days untouched, but chase the bunnies to get some poop 😤🤢

2 of my 3 dogs also struggle keeping on weight while the other is a little overweight. I also have a dog that will eat anything she can find and the best way to keep them from eating stuff of the ground is putting on a muzzle during walks. So many muzzles in the market to choose from and it keeps them safe from eating thongs that they arent supposed to. The girls are super cute.

Once we taught her to beg she would sit by the back door and beg to go out into the garden. Do you have hot weather were you live?. If so can I suggest that you get your dogs cool mats for them to lie on. We got one for our Bella and she would always lie on it...winter or summer.

Thank you for your posts. my cav is now a year old. and he loves to eat his stuffed toys. he doesn't chew or eat anything but he loves his stuff friends to death. he chew and swallow them. what should I do?

Be careful about that! They should eat the filling and thread from plush toys. Try finding new toys and chews that your cavalier might find interesting :)
