Hermés 24/24 bag size 29 - 8 months of wear and tear - WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?

I have this bag in barenia fabourge with GHW. This is one of my most-used bags overall. One of my favorite aspects is that this bag it’s not recognizable. When I wear my bright blue Birkin, I get quite a few stares and comments from strangers. When I wear this bag, only people who know Hermes recognize it for what it is. It’s very functional, fits a lot, goes with 90% of my wardrobe. I can take it from day to night no problem. I once wore this bag to a Ferragamo store to look at their Hug bags that are so cute. Compared to the Hug bag, this one is built like a tank. It is a lot more substantial, thick, and expensive feeling. Overall I love it!

Happy to hear you are loving your bag 🤗 And it is interesting to hear the comparison with Ferragamo as well, I think you might not really notice those difference, unless you actually put both bags next to each other. And yes, 24/24 definitely goes with like 90 percent of my wardrobe too, I definitely agree!

I own the exact same bag for about 3 yrs now. It’s not my most used but I like it. Actually, I asked for a quote at Fashionphile and they were only offering 5K for it. I would had lost a couple thousands considering that at the time I paid more than 8K for it. I don’t think anyone can really recoup their money on that bag. It’s not the most popular, but after owning many Hermès bags, I think it’s one of the most functional, especially with the back pocket. It’s a bit on the heavier side but it’s also the reason why this bag is pretty much indestructible.😂 I’ve got a longer strap to wear it crossbody if needed, it’s practical when traveling. That bag is not really recognizable, so I feel safe wearing it anywhere I want and feel like. Overall, it was a good decision.

Interesting to hear about the quote from Fashionphile; I looked at their selection and they have several 24/24 bags that are priced anywhere between 10k and 8k, but I really do not know how much they collect for listing and selling the items. I am happy that overall you are happy with the bag! And yes, I agree that it is pretty much indestructible

@ Yes that’s the price they sell them at but it’s not what they give you. And selling it ourselves is always a risk and nobody would give us the same price as Fashionphile because we cannot give the same guarantee.

So I bought mine for slightly over 8k EUR about 8 months ago. On the pre-loved market, quite a few bags retail somewhere between 10k and 8k USD... Some of the cheapest ones I found on the pre-loved market are around 5k to 6k USD: all greatly depends on the size and the condition. I hope this helps! 🤗
