Hi Gabe, yes it was disappointing but I have had such a good run with foundation over the past few months I suppose it had to happen at some stage. The powders and lipsticks are beautiful 🌹

Hi Lena, this was just so awful and I am surprised, given that it is made in Japan where they normally knock sunscreen type products out of the park. My usual everyday sunscreen is made in Japan and it is amazing. The powders and lipsticks are really lovely 🦋😘

Hi Maria: I have a potential solution (one I use) to make use of the balm on your face: I suggest you mix it with your sunscreen, in your hands; and apply the homogenous mix by hand, making sure to blend well over pores. I don’t wear foundation, and this is what I do to increase the sunscreen level of my tinted moisturizer. So, I only recommend this on days you intend not to wear a liquid foundation (though a powder foundation would work on your t-zone). On me, this mix looks and behaves like light coverage foundation. Thank you for your review - I love your eye look - the Hermes lip balms are pretty, Beige d’eau (water beige, is the literal translation, though ‘liquid beige’ is a better translation) enhances your lips but is neutral against your skin; the orangey shade enhances your lips AND your skin tone (and I think Nymphéa, the pinky shade in the collection would also be beautiful on you, on days you wear cooler toned blush and eyeshadow).

Great review Maria. It is really a shame about the Hermes balm. It is going to be a very expensive spf. I'm so glad you used the lip balms. I passed on them because the last ones I bought were awful, but these look great. I think I will pick them up. 💕

Hi Maria! Thank you so much for this review! When I first learned about the balm I was tempted to order it but decided to wait and now seeing that it gives “polka dot pores” it’s a skip! Though I am tempted to pick up the powders! I love how this NARS foundation looks on your skin and I will have to pick it up during the Sephora Spring Sale. The lipsticks you showed are all so lovely and shade 05 reminds me of a discontinued Tom Ford lipstick I have called Naked Ambition that I adore and cannot bring myself to part with. Hi, gosh it's been such a long time since I tried this. It may do, but I don't think you should have to fuss around with a luxury foundation to get it to work. Such a shame as I love the other Hermes products that I have 🦋

I haven’t seen a video that has a good review on the Hermes balm. It’s such a shame, they should had waited and refine the product before going to production. I love the Hermes lipstick abs blush I have.

Hi Amanda, yes it was disappointing but the powders and lipsticks are really good. I was surprised that this balm wasn't any good considering it is made in Japan and my usual everyday sunscreen which is amazing is made in Japan. 🦋
