In this clip, DJ Vlad sits down with a close friend of the late Nipsey Hussle, Herman "Cowboy" Douglas, who talks about living in various neighborhoods in Los Angeles, such as Ladera Heights before sharing some gritty details about how he was initiated into the Rollin' 60s Neighborhood Crips. From there, he talks about inheriting the gangs' rivals and what it was like having to fight people who had a problem with the Rollin' 60s behind bars. As the conversation moves along, Douglas addresses the infamous beef between the Rollin' 60s and Eight-Trays, both of whom are Crips.

Crazy story. I had just moved back to L.A. with my mom from Texas. My father and my brother was still living out here in L.A. Basically down the street and around the corner from Horace Mann Junior High School. This is basically in the vaccinity of where Tyrone had gotten shot which was near Florence & Western Avenue. I was just turning 13 years old in '79 and living where I did I fully remember all the tension in the neighborhood and what the conversation was like amongst the young people. I also remember when Kyle Cook got killed in Gardena in mid '81. I went to High School with his younger brother. That one bothered me since I knew him.

The problem with us is that we never do our research. Nip NEVER used the word snitch. Holder asked Nip to help him out with his music.
