I'm not sure about the bowtie, but other than that Peter has a wonderful time, looks and sounds great and it translates to a happy and delighted crowd. He was the first celebrity I ever met, Yale Bowl summer of '73 when I was a last minute MC for a British rock revival show. Wonderful guy, still going strong, very happy for him.

This is more like the entire concert rather than the first set.. shortened because of the venue, probably. I don't know if the concert was free for the price of admission but it looks like the same thing he's been doing for years. same song, same order. When I saw them in Rochester MI. it was longer, they did a few more songs. If you search youtube peter Noone 2014, you will see the same show. He was great and I said I would always go and see him but I'm not sure.

Saw'im just a few days later at the Arcadia, in St Charles IL. I think Peter was in better voice for the later show. Sounds a bit strained here, but I do know how the early hours can have an effect. Whatta hoot. Love the songs... fine band.

Where is the Bass Player ?

Rich plays bass on songs not requiring a keyboard, and sometimes when he plays keyboards he does the bass line with his left hand. When Peter added a second guitarist about 15 years ago, he eliminated a full time bass player. It was a good move.....does not hurt the sound at all.

The only original member of the ‘British Hermits’ is Barry Whigwam, the drummer. A court case some time back gave Peter use of the Hermits name in the States and the ‘non-Hermans’ Hermits the RoW. Not absolutely sure, but I think when Peter and ‘his Hermits’ come to the UK, they are just billed as ‘Peter Noone and band’. Clearly, since he is the original vocalist, his band have the much more authentic sound of course.🥴. Plus the musicianship of his ‘Hermits’ is absolutely top-notch.

In the band touring UK and Europe the only original HH member is Barry Whidham , the drummer. Peter Noone is Herman. Was and is the lead singer of Herman's Hermits. I have been a fan of Herman's Hermits since 1964. Nobody is Herman except Peter Noone. Do your research for the whole story.
