Professor, you’re are right even when you say that people love Ruto. However, he must drop the clever campaign language. Running the country is different from campaigning. People don’t want the lies of police independence when we know he’s the commander in chief and head of national security council. We don’t want to hear of independence of parliament when his MPs wouldn’t dare act against his wishes. When they defeat impeachment motion, he’s responsible. We don’t want our money consumed by useless task force. Heads must roll, even good ones can be 21:48 collateral damage. Government needs to be reconstituted and have the face of Kenya. Our democracy is getting stronger as demonstrated by the push in accountability and no leader is perfect, we can definitely see that William Ruto is trying to change the course. His excellency Ruto made a bold decision to engage with citizens on Elon’s platform a rarity among African leaders so we should give time for the democratic process to make changes because the problems we have now goes back to Independence days. On the contrary, he swore an oath to the Kenyan people to do all that is mandated in our constitution to prosper our people - the people of Kenya and only the people of Kenya. Since his regime began;- we have witnessed the looting of government funds on an unprecedented level -you can read it on the auditor general's report if you wish; Our police have been deployed to the Caribbean and; he has subverted the office of the presidency to fulfill a delusional, childish and politically dangerous ambition to be the darling of NATO at our geopolitical and economic cost. We do not owe persons in the name of public officials any loyalty and least of all obedience. Any public servant who acts insubordinate to the social contract i.e. the laws outlined within the constitution of the Republic of Kenya should be legally indicted after summary dismissal through whatever means provided by law. We are neither subordinates to the regime nor are we their parents or their spouses because the guardians of power are we the Kenyan people. As a public collective, we do not owe thanks, respects or concessions to the private personhood of any government official occupying public offices.

Well articulated! Great pieces of advice. I wish these pieces of advice could be heeded before where we’re now. Ruto’s mastery and political acumen is in ruling the semiliterate and illiterate Kenya citizenry which left out the educated, hawkish and exposed Millennials/Gen-Z majority unattended. It’s the time-bomb revolutionary outfit haunting Ruto now. Ruto has no idea on how to conform to this political dispensation.
