Cantor/operatic tenor Hermann Jadlowker had a dark spinto voice exceptionally skilled in fioratura. A contemporary of Enrico Caruso, he was overshadowed by the latter, like many other fine tenors of that generation.

A surprisingly clear and good recording, I would have expected it to be a lot worser (I mean the audio). I have performances (although live) that are worse! Could you now just explain to me, what is fioratura, please? :-/
