The Togo is made inside out, then reversed. The Epsom is made the right way around. That's why the Epsom seems bigger - the seams are on the outside. Beautiful bags, both. :)

It's not the leather (Togo or Epsom), its the style name- Retourne (inside out) and Sellier. Retourne is smaller because the leather is stitched inside the bag- therefore, they need to use a more softer leather like togo and epsom cannot be used at the retourne style.

Hi Claire ! Happy about your new Hermès ! It's crazy but when you were talking about your " dream house" school project I recalled mine about the best known monuments in the world . I was 10 yrs old and chose the Eiffel Tower as I wanted to move ony day and lived in Paris . I'm from Poland and I made my dream come true : I've been living in Paris for some 17 yrs , speak fluently French , bought a flat in the area between Galerie Lafayette and Montmarte and can say hello to the Eiffel Tower every day while walking to my work .

The price difference between Hermes boutique and secondary market sellers is astronomical, to the point of being mind boggling. I can scarcely take it in! I suppose something is worth the amount of money a group of people are willing to pay for it. The wonder is that Hermes does not charge even more, since they could clearly get away with it! Love your Hermes Kelly's 💞👌 I was just thinking before you told us the price that I wanted to know it. It's helpful for us to know what it was as there is so much disparity- pre-loved, different countries, stores etc. Please can you (if you haven't already) do a video of shopping experience places like Hermes etc, what the experience is like?, were the staff friendly?, how do you dress to go into designer stores etc? The reason I'm asking is that it can feel intimidating, I always dress smartly when I go shopping, out for a girly shopping/lunch trip anyway but I've always still felt too uncomfortable to try to enter those type of stores. I've been in Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh which for me (I know lol) was very exciting. There's a Louis Vuitton store right next to it which I've not plucked enough courage to go in 😬 even though they'd probably be perfectly nice to me 😁 I'd love to buy a Louis Vuitton Metis bag, I'm saving at the moment & I'm looking forward very much to actually going in person to buy it but if I'm honest I will be a bit nervous. I bought a black Mulberry Bayswater bag in their store in Glasgow year's ago, it was £550 at the time & because I'd psyched myself up so much beforehand I had to get a taxi home when I cam out the store 😄

Sellier is always bigger than the Retourne, it's the structure, it doesn't have anything to do with the type of leather it's made of. You should have already known that by now. But I love the bag!!! I have that in my Hermès wishlist on a bigger size.

The new Kelly is a beauty!I must honestly say that I love a Kelly sellier but the Kelly in retourné always looks smaller. I have both as well and my Kelly 28 retourné looks the same size as my Kelly 25 sellier. Love the new bag and it does look a bit small. Oh and collecting baby teeth is a thing. Your mum was way ahead of her time. Some scientists and researchers say that the properties/ stem cells in baby teeth can be used to cure diseases and such in bespoke medicines. There are storage banks to store baby teeth. But who knows...Like others have said, you are still glowing and Baby H. is such a handsome, strong boy. Be safe.
