In my eyes, one of my favorite things about Hermes bags is how discrete they can be. The Lindy has such a unique design, but doesn't immediately shout Hermes; unless you're really into luxury handbags or Hermes, in general. I'm hoping to score a Lindy 30 in the combination of Rouge Casaque/swift leather/palladium hardware.

Hi Kat! I discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and you are one of my most favourite youtubers!! You are adorable!! You make me laugh so much as you have a great sense of humour. You remind me of myself as far as taking care and worrying about my bags is concerned,especially when they are new!! 😍😍 You are the kind of person I’d love to have as a friend in real life. 😊 I have my small luxury bag collection and enjoy it so much! I never bought anything from Hermes but I used to dream of getting a Birkin or a Kelly one day. After watching your video, I fell in love with the Lindy!! I love the soft leather used in these bags..And the colours used...Sooo pretty!! I recently acquired my first Chanel classic flap and a boy bag so you can understand that I will need to save for a lifetime to get a Lindy!! But it’s always nice to wait for something nice to happen in the future. Even though size 26 seems so cute, I am thinking that maybe size 30 would be more appropriate for me as I usually carry a lot of stuff with me. And those two tone Lindys...oh dear...just love them!! Hahaha - Cracked me up when you mentioned the turnlock poking you. That is exactly how it is with my Chanel Medium. I always know when I have it on backwards because I always feel the turnlock poking me on the hip. If the bag swings hard enough, it's actually painful, LOL! Beautiful bag

Hi Kat, no offence though I'm commenting as for me, I don't agree with a few comments. The lindy is one of the most convenient bags, as you can use it without zipping it and the flap can just be lifted up for a width opening for easy access. I also don't think it's fair for the Twilly comment, Hermes didn't mean for Twillys to be tied to handles of their bags! And the insert is wrong.. Use the bag, not the insert..! :D plus the weight, I don't agree how you can say GP36 is not heavy and this is heavy..? Hmm...

I agree with this reply. The bag organizer for this bag is wrong.Own the bag, don’t,t let the bag owns you. Having some dents after using the bag is a con? Give me a break! All my Chanel shoes have the biggest cons because all leave dents after use. You are irrational KATE . That twilly is also wrong.

I would recommend Maitai bag insert, they are soft and light and it keeps my lindy with her "slouchy" shape, the price for that is a bit steep tho.

Thank you so much for this video. I love the LV Speedy in Empreinte but after trying it on various times, the shoulder strap and wide base felt awkward on me. I like a handheld bag (the Boston style particularly) but with a child in tow, the ease of a shoulder bag option is more practical for me. I am definitely keen in visiting the boutique in SG now.

yes, i agree with you Kat ! sometimes thinking of getting the preloved, but the price not much different and service ( from the re seller) was horrible !! I rather spend abit more to get from the store . I was treated like VIP when i was in Chanel KLCC , even though I am not a big buyer . That is why, always tell my friends, save the money to get a brand new, or grab the preloved if really a good deal ( min 40 % off)

I can understand why also because there are buyers who just ask for fun and are irritating...as a reseller, I go through it to so I can sympathize.

Kat L I do sell my bag and accessories. I agree with you , lots of them are just ask for fun .. but I normally state very clearly there . I sold my Burberry leather tote at 1k only in where I got it for 4K plus . I was so happy that I sell to a young mother .. she even told me : "Dr, you got so many bags oo" then .. makes me realise how fortunate I am 🙏🏻🙏🏻 but I'm trying to reduce my purchase now .. 😂😂😅😅 maybe it's time for Hermes 🙈🙈🙊🙊

gosh! this is a tough question! speedy 25 is so classic....i'm not so sure about the empreinte leather because i find it a little heavy. N that's because i'm so used to the canvas speedies....old skool....the lindy and speedy have the same kind of size but they are so different....i love them both for different reasons

I liked the video before watching it. :) Great first impression review! Thank You for making this video and it's helping me to know more about this particular handbag as I'm quite interested in this design. H is really expensive but I think they're worth it if you find the right handbag. It's OK to leave the stickers on the handbag as you live in a humid environment? I thought the stickers would leave residue on the hardware if you don't remove them when in humidity. Did you buy another raincoat for the handbag? I thought H came with its own raincoat. I dowan to use the raincoat that it came with hahaha 🙄🙄 too precious! As for the stickers, they are slowly but surely peeling off 😭 the humidity and use of the bag , it doesn't last...I am trying ... But they're coming off 😫😭

I still can't find my Lindy 26 .I left my name and phone number to a SA of Hermes in Maastricht,NL since december 2014. He 's never called. 😢 I tried in Dusseldorf, Germany for 1.5 year....never had luck. since novemver till now I go to the boutique every monday because the SA said they got delivery on monday. Lindy was supposed to be my christmas gift and now it's gonna be valentines day gift...😅

I'd rather have the grainy leathers. But the Kelly Lakis (with the outside pockets) only came in swift. I've had it for 8 years already and although I do use it, it's very scratch prone, even with just your nails.
