This shit is TIMELESS, could be worn by my grandpa, my dad, and me, and would NEVER lose it's appeal. Best pulled of by the 30+ crowd, definitely a daytime fragrance for any occasion. Downside? Its everything but a compliment getter sadly BUT! without doubt a safe, calm inducing scent, reminiscence of the earth and the temporal nature of life.

I'm 66 and wear this fragrance for dates and nights out. I get complimented on it a lot probably because it's very different to all the "in fragrances". I love the way it smells and it lasts a good 8 hours I can even smell it on my clothes the morning after.

Im now 37 and ive been wearing this as my signature scent for 6 years I still remember the first time i smelled it at work in a factory and had to essentially wear the guy down and promise to only wear it outside of the job to get him to give up the name and i finally bought a bottle 6 months later My taste of cologne really matured with this i instantly sold 9 bottles of cologne i knew immediately this was my number 1 and that i could wear it and feel grown and sexy with still a flair of darkness (call me daddy vibe) you can confidently walk in any room and know your the only person wearing it and that your atleast 5 or 6 notches above the rest of the guys who still buy all there cologne from shoppers drug mart clearance section it commands respect

Its possible it has been reformulated. Although, everyone will always jump to this conclusion with every fragrance. I think its more to do with the old bottle maturing. Most new fragrances will smell different after allowing to sit a couple months

Noup! IT IS reformulated! The EU-regulations literally watering down the original composition of every "classics" fragrances of today! So sad but so true, unfortunately! 😭 The fragrance doesn't have any use to get maturated, just because there is no incrediences to be maturated as there were on the earlier batches!😊😊

The Terre D'Hermes Parfum For Men is by far the better one than the edt. The Tdh Parfulm is one of my top 5 favorite fragrances of all time. Has that pure classy rich man masculine scent going on in it. I will always have a bottle of the Parfum version. Just like D&G The One EDP, IDC if they both may be not so great performers, both fragrances have the best scent of all time imho.

Great video! This fragrance is incredible. The citrus notes sparkle like crystals embedded in white marble. It’s all so dry and different and I love that. Instead of Amber or musks like you often see in fragrances, the use of flint here is brilliant. It’s like the mineral dust of the flint binds it all together, giving the sensation of being dazzled in the sun. I get an image in my mind when I wear this, of walking in a forest on a day after it had rained, maybe it’s an orange or grapefruit grove, some of the fruit has fallen to the ground and burst open, getting whiffs of that while also the earth beneath. I looked at the back of the box for this fragrance and sure enough, it has Evernia Prunastri (Oakmoss) Extract listed! Not a synthetic but the actual real thing. Rare these days. It’s interesting they didn’t even list it as a note, but it’s on the box and you can even see it on their site for it under “Ingredients”. And I definitely pick it up when I wear this. What a masterpiece!

Wow such a spot on review. I was gifted this in my late 20s, totally inappropriate for that age. I recently complemented what turns out to be this fragrance on a friend who is more mature. Definitely worth it! People are raving about Roja Dove Isola Blu (same as Oligarch). I have both and after 30 minutes, in the air, they smell almost identical (TDh and oligarch). I do prefer TDH Parfum, a little smoother. TDH Eau Givree is amazing. Now I just need to get my nose on TDH Eau Tre Fraiche and Eau Intense Vetiver

Terre D'Hermes is perfumery done to perfection. The first 1/2 hour is a challenge but once it begins to dry down and work on the wearer you get wave after wave on olfactory pleasure. The Edt is a beast, if i wear it and some of it rubs off on my jacket you still get wafts days later. Definitely a fragrance I'll buy again and again.

This was my dads scent, whenever he left a room you knew he’d been in there from the Sillage. I have a wide range of luxury niche perfumes which are all basically full to the brim bar Naxos if you count that as luxury, however TDH has barely a few sprays left. I’ve unconsciously made it my signature and I absolutely love the uniqueness of it. Even the opening to me is beautiful but it could just be nostalgia.

EDIT: I'm no professional when it comes to describing perfumes etc but if you like one, you'll more than likely like the others mentioned 👍

@bamf6603 this is more boss like, masuline and charming. Tom ford is better seductive, better for dates or intimate dates. Id wear Hermes to office or meetings, daily. Tom Ford, I'd wear to dates or in fall winter nights.

I am using Terre D'Hermes Pure Perfume and the smell is not as intense as I thought it would be for a pure perfume and also the smell tones down pretty fast. I have the same issue with every kind of cologne I have used in the past. Savage Dior, Dunhill Icon Racing, Dolce&Gabbana King, Jo Malone English oak and redcurrant etc. etc. I need help! do you think it's my skin? Do you recommend any cologne that sticks on the skin and it smells to everyone around you without coming to close to them?

Try the Dior sauvage elixir, or mancera red Tobacco if your just looking for projection. Could also come down to you becoming anosmic from certain fragrances!

I had this for sauvage too. My EDT Terre d'Hermes stays much longer than my EDP Sauvage

First of all, thank you for taking the time and effort for making this review. I recently purchased the gift set of the EDT (30ml travelling bottle and a 125ml refill bottle). Although I hear you say the projection lasts mutiple hours in different 'stages', I find the one I own fading within an hour, max two. Now, when I put my nose on my skin, I will smell it for several hours, but the projection is kind of disappointing overall. Did you come across that experience more often? And do you know what can be the 'problem'? Kind regards from the Netherlands, Tom

Hey Tom! Thanks for watching. I have noticed over the years that allowing some fragrances to sit for a bit, maybe even a month or 2 after spraying, makes performance better in my experience. You could be going "nose blind." I feel like this one is not as strong as it used to be anymore because I was having similar issues overall. It will radiate a bit more than you realize, but it is definitely not beast mode.

Imho, the Parfum version of Tdh is the best if you want more projection & longevity. I'd say it lasts all day long. The edt is the weaker one imho. Didn't work all that much on my skin either. But the Parfum version is perfect for me as it's not a room blaster that would offend anyone, but projects really nice like 2-3ft most of the day.

The problem with TdH EDT is the 50% IsoESuper concentration. I, like many, can’t smell IsoE well, or at all, so once the top notes fade it smells like you have nothing on…but others near you who can smell that chemical will smell you. I have owned Molecule 01 and I literally could not smell anything but others around me say it smelled like woods.
