Hi everyone 💖 just want to pop in to explain why I've been deleting a few comments. Normally I don't delete comments at all, and I love constrictive criticism as it's very important and helps me grow! I appreciate the wise words that people offer and am so thankful I have such a wonderful community. However some of the comments on this video became very nasty (and I ended up getting a bit delete happy and deleting quite a few that probably weren't without realising and for that I am so sorry). I've got some really difficult things going on in my personal life at the moment, and for the sake of my mental health, I have deleted a few comments as the negativity on these declutter videos becomes too much for one single person to take sometimes 😔I think this will be my last declutter video. I'm sorry to the few people who enjoy them💖But on a lighter note, I have a house tour coming up soon and I hope that will prove that I'm not a hoader 😂(or am I, who knows? we will find out)

Hermione Chantal I’m sorry people are cruel. We all have things we let the ball drop on, sometimes. I’m sure even organization guru’s have their secrets. Lol. I love your decluttering videos and makeovers. I will miss them. I have lots of pillows, too, try using one of those space saver or ziploc vacuum bags. It will help free up some visual space and keep them dust free. 😊

That hall before and after is very satisfying! I like that: 95% better is better than nothing, yes. Great job! Decluttering and organizing for myself and others and seeing others do it gives me a relieved, lighter, centered, spacious feeling.

I used to struggle with storing cushions and excess blankets but then I got some vacuum storage bags and now I can neatly hide them under my bed!

You should cut the legs for the bathroom cabinet so it raises it just enough to be flush with the sink

Plus maybe it would be better for the cabinet not to stand on wet floor, as it can destroy that mdf wood or whatever it is made of.

Wow Hermione I really love the cabinet you found it really fits the space well and everything looks so organized and I'm liking it a lot. I love the hallway now, it looks more than 90% better and the hallway is wider than it looked before, that shelving unit you found is so perfect for storing your craft supplies and fits so well in that spot and doesn't stick out and take up too much space. Great video Hermione and thanks so much for sharing you always give me so much inspiration to declutter spaces in my own home. I have been trying to go through my craft things and either donate, keep or toss, and so far so good, I have so much more room and things don't look as cluttered. I decided that some of the craft things I have just had for way too long and if I haven't used them in over 15 years then it was time to get rid of them because I would never use them. Keep sharing the content you do because most of us enjoy it and the ones that are cruel can just go someplace else, and take their negativity with them, have a great day bye for now.

I love these videos so much. it shows that even spaces that look hopeless aren't. when I get my own house I'll try not to let it get as cluttered as yours did but if it does then I can look back at these videos and see that it can be done! The bathroom looks so nice. I am finally going to tackle mine. I am taking everthing out, super scrub it. Husband is painting. I am going to purge and reorganize everything. I have ordered new black toile shower curtain and a few new towels and rugs. I have been so annoyed with this room that I leave the light off most of the time when visiting for short "stops". I love those storage units you found for so cheap. I will keep the ones I have but use them better. We have no good thrift shops at all. My tile floors are very ugly but best I can do it new rugs. Thanks for the timely motibation.

As a maximalist, I really appreciate seeing someone declutter in a house that looks like mine! I can't stand these videos where people get results that are 100% perfect with nothing out of place, or even worse, when the "before" looks tidier than my after. Some people are just going to have more stuff, especially if you're into crafting or media production!

This is so me. I have tons of decluttering to do. But I am so emotionally attached to it all, that I start going through it and stop half way and give up. Plus I have such a small flat, with hardly any area to go through stuff in.

Having to store inventory for your DIY's is hard. I restore furniture and make items from scratch, and I also have a triple car garage that isn't for a car, it's full of things that I need!! Please don't let people bring you down. I know this is easier said than done because I'm quite sensitive, but block and delete away and don't stop doing what you do🤗xx

Native does smell very good. I do sweat through it though. I had mine for about 1 to 1 1/2 years (I bought the sampler pack) and used one, then went back to other sticks, used another, went back to other sticks. I do love the scents though.

Two things I love about Europe and surrounding arias is that there is more history so it is easier to find cute old things and furniture and housing is more affordable to purchase to living wages than in America. In the town that I live in the United States it’s a college town, second largest in the state , and my friends that are not students are taking six months to a year to find a rental and they are outrageously priced. My sister currently lives in a hotel and she says there’s about 10 other people that are doing the same thing there.

Hi, Hermione, it looks way better now. Good job you did jumping over that inner hurdle to start tidying. 👍Might I suggest though, that it is always a good idea to put legs on cupboards you use in a bathroom? There is always a good chance to have puddles of water on the floor through some accidents and they would damage the piece.🐳 Perhaps you can find shorter ones or cut the existing ones? And might I ask if you found a very good home for all the things I saw you taking into the next room...? Did you clutter up another space? I have a room where I can't seem to find a good way to arrange furniture and things in a practical way. It annoys me to no end. My goal was to have a place for everything. I don't want to throw away anything that was left after I decluttered. Will I have to do that anyway? Will you too? Hmm? 😕

May I be of help? Try to categorise what you have, decide what is causing the most "clutter" for you and then focus on organising that one thing first. In my case it's wool, but it will be different for you. try googling storage solutions of that one category of item. That in of itself might help a tonne Good luck.

Looks SO much better! Being from Canada, I’ve never understood why European bathrooms don’t build in the sinks onto a countertop. Even a tiny bathroom has room! I do like your bathroom sink, though. Good finds in the thrift shops!
