I love how you don't gloss over the imperfections in the room but mention that these are not done yet but I'll get around to it. Makes it so much more real. Also I love your aesthetic. It's got colour and patterns without being too overwhelming.

We don't use our formal dinning room off our kitchen. Since our kitchen has a breakfast nook. So we turned it into my home library when we got our place. Plenty of room for 8 bookcases a love seat a few small tables and a lamp.

You could sew a piece of contrasting fabric on the seams of the curtains to give it some texture. Or maybe even a piece of lace. That would be really pretty in that room. It looks fabulous by the way!!

8:16 you could put some tassels or a Pom Pom trim along the seam to hide and and give you curtains a little bit of flair. You could even trimmings at intervals so it looks like an intentional design plan!

I thought I would pass along a tip for the curtain seems, why not add a pretty trim after lockdown is over? Wow Hermione, I love love love the room now, the rug makes it look so cozy, and those pink curtains gives the room this soft warm glow, you could cover the seam on the curtain with a pretty trim of some kind, that would give it a nice finish. We that are not essential seem to have a lot of time on our hands, when I do get a day off I have been cleaning, organizing and styling my one bedroom that will become the guest bedroom. I work at a grocery store, so I still have a job, and it is still a little crazy sometimes. I just want things to go back to normal. I am glad that the weather is getting warmer so I can go outside to work in the yard, I have lots of things to do there. Thanks so much for this video I really enjoyed it. Love the evolution of this room! As for curtain seams, if you had put the seam at the top (near where the transom ends on top of the main windows, the seam wouldn't show. Now, you can add trim or just ignore it. :) As for the sitting room, why not turn that into your dining room? Until, of course, you can do something with the furniture.

Oh I love it as a dining room. Maybe sa nook lounge bar desk filming and small dining romantic nook. I think the lamps overpower everything. They would be good on living room low profile and tables or on either side of very long hallway tall buffet. Agree the rug seem a jump too bo ho tribal.

I think it would look amazing if you got a longer curtain rod so that the curtains can take up more of the wall and make the window/door look bigger. The yellow tone of the divider looks out of place in the room too, I would hide the skirting with plants along the floor in decorative pots instead 😊 Otherwise, this is such a cozy room! Would love to spend the evening in there with a tea and a book! Also your nan is amazing

It looks so cozy and just an awesome place to relax. The curtains look really good, I like that the pool on the floor like that. It softens the straight lines and will keep it warmer in the evenings. Also if you find that the seem where you joined the curtains bothers you later on, I noticed you had a lovely cushion with tassels on it on the sofa. If you added a few little tassels along the seem it would blend it in and match in with the cushion.
