I laughed so many times out loud! Yoel is just amazingly competent at failing with traps. I wouldn't trust the base at all though, the crazy fisherman going in was very sus. Yoel's and xB's banter is truly golden ❤.

I really enjoy watching xB be paranoid and looking for traps, it's so fun to see the tiny details he remembers in order to stay safe. If I was a Hermit, I'd purposefully change small things in his base just to mess with him. Not even traps, just turn a chest around, move the Dog a bit, replace a block, that kind of thing lol

Xb put the trapdoor there. If anyone tries to go down into his mine without hugging the left wall, they'll die. Xb knows the trapdoor is there, obviously, but anyone coming downstairs to trap his mine might not think to check the hole to confirm they need to hug the left wall to survive. I think there's an extra bit of brilliance to it that Xb didn't talk about, on top of that. If anyone comes to trap that hole, they might check it to see if anyone got to it first, see the trapdoor, and assume the hole is already trapped, not knowing that Xb himself is the one who trapped it and therefore knows how to avoid the trap.

Happy birthday! You seem to have a good nose for sensing traps. Honestly, that whole “I always close my door before logging out” reminded me of putting a slip of paper between the door and the frame to tell when someone has entered the room. Joel’s three failed murder attempts were a delight to watch, and to be fair, every other hermit on the server goes by either their screen name or one that can be derived from their screen name, so Joel’s the odd one out here.
