Needs a communication/radio tower I think. Would give a nice different footprint taller build in the area. Thinking old air traffic control for the airport and to communicate with the "mainland". For storage, what Etho has for this season might be good for you. Not as automated but seems like a nice system

I'll go on ahead n speak for everyone when I say that you could just straight up spend the time wandering around, randomly runnin into various hermits and I wouldn't miss a minute of any episode. Hell, I'd be game if you just wandered about, just throwing out those outrageously entertaining witt-maxed witticisms we've all grown to just have total adoration for ya as a result. You're really, if I'm honest, an awesome dude and always say the most random yet also somehow perfect comments for any given situation. You also have one of the purest, downright friendly personalities and that certainly doesn't negatively impact your maxed out watchable stat. Lol long damn diatribe to say, you're entertaining as hell and a solid dude that anyone would be lucky and honored to call a friend, so don't sweat it if there isn't a build. We watch your vids for you, not the builds. They're just a dope bonus.

Absolutely love the hanger and airplane! perhaps a small fuel truck and one of those airplane tow trucks in the parking lot? love the whole base this season, it's so cool. My storage suggestion is a "Bunker" area underneath the hanger, like a nuclear shelter for the rich in this hidden jungle retreat.

I think one of the greatest things about playing on a server is walking around and seeing how the other player play the game/approach the same problems. I really like seeing the differences between the hermits storage systems, even if you felt like you didn't make progress.

Etho’s storage system. Airstrip: my grandpa literally mowed down part of his wheat farm to make runway for ultra-light airplanes. I’d say for your build pallet, keep it a dirt runway using different dirt/packed mud blocks. I love what you do.

Keralis' base is like the actual beach side resort and the shopping district is like the big tourist area with ships and weird attractions. Doc's hour glass reminds me of the upside down houses they build for tourist locations in the US and mumbo's shop looks like a mini golf course.

I loved this episode! And don't be sorry for doing nothing, especially at your 19 minute mark! Getting to see the hermitcraft server through your eyes as if everything is new was entertaining because after we see the builds, it's nice to see other hermits reacting to new things popping up. So this is just serotonin in a sense. You won't regret hiring False! She's done way more work to bring the neighbourhood together and make everything accessible to each other and to the rest of the server than you can or would have seen. And things that you give credit to other hermits she had her hands in too. Her big business expansion into lakes is natural, after all. I'm excited to see her final touches on your lake. That crab rave display will never get old though. Cleo, as always, talented as she is reliable. I enjoyed you "shopping around" the other hermits' bases for a storage solution xD Definitely think you should have a look at more hermits though as you haven't found quite what you're looking for yet. I suggest getting a look at Impulse's because it's the closest thing to what I think you want. Etho's is brilliant but it's overkill for what you want. But it's soooooo nice. Just another revolutionary invention there. Real casual like. So you should definitely get a tour of it at the very least! Doc's is, well, not what you're looking for. It's massive but it would still be cool to look at!

IMHO "action packed" starts to feel overwhelming sometimes. Someone who is as great to listen to and who gets up to as many fun hijinks and has as many great hermit interactions as you Keralis, it works well to have a good mix and not just all action.

Sorting idea: empty shulkers into a line that sorts bulk items out first (impulse filters), then dumps the rest into a stack of chests. Manual sort the leftovers into a categorized chest wall. Manual sort section can be replaced with multi-item sorters at a later date if you wish, but you probably won't for a while because manual sort without the bulk items is pretty quick and easy. Multi-item sorters are a fun project, but if you just need storage for your building style they are overkill.

The landing strip isn't pointless - it's a great way for hermits who can't fly so well to land at the shopping district... You could try to make it the official shopping district elytra airport, with passport checking, duty free (permit free shopping?) etc.. Beautiful building. It looks amazing.

Etho's got a cool storage system with minimal redstone. You can see it in Scar's ep 12 where he explains how it works. Maybe you could put it in the floor of the hangar.

I had an idea for the plane parking that you will probably hate and be made fun of 😆! Have some with a protective covering (tarpaulin) so it just wool, carpets and banners with wheels on the bottom in the shape of a plane. Less need for detail work- take a lesson from Doc- he “doesnt want to do anything”

One idea for the hangar might be to have a large-ish cargo plane covering up a small and compact super smelter, with the idea being that you're "shipping off" the raw materials with the plane and it's returning with the smelted product! Would be a challenge to design, but it's an interesting thought

The air strip is great. It looks like the type of airport you’d get on an isolated holiday resort. You could build a smaller building with the check in desks etc, have some tropical music and maybe some floral necklaces and cocktails to welcome guests.

Hey Keralis, you went from a city builder to a real good landscape builder! As you said that you want to build a hangar for a plane, i thought that it wouldnt look so good. But building it like an old ruined hangar is a real good idea!!!! It looks wonderful! Gives more jungle vibes =) I have to say, your base alone looks like the movie Far Cry or like the game Max Payne 3. But i you take xB's base into it. It looks like a Drug Cartell boss and his smugglers place xD About the sorting system, look at Ethos. I dont understand how it works, but it looks easy!

I love games that take place on tropical islands, whether it’s cartel, zombies or whatever, tropical settings are amazing. I love this theme and pallet with the small bits of modern vehicles from the real world. I love cartel island vibes. And the jungle makes the shopping district look fabulous

You don't have to be constantly building for us to enjoy your vids. We come for YOU! Very enjoyable episode. It felt relaxing, like I was actually in your little oasis, taking time to chill out and relax. Love the airstrip idea and the run down hanger looks amazing! Maybe in a back corner you can have an airplane with some broken landing gear, so it's leaning, one wing on the ground. Lastly, I'd say go to Tango, Impulse, or Etho about the sorting system you want and they could easily guide you in the best direction.

K-man you talked about not having enough progress in the episode, but i think you outdid yourself again. I would gladly watch 20 minute episodes where you do nothing but hang around with hermits / talk about the future plans of the base. I dont need to see building progress every episode. Dont pressure yourself :)) Id rather have 2 episodes a week with minor progress than 1 every week where you build everything at once.

Intermingle some concrete blocks on the Hanger Floor, broken up by dirt and Grass due to "reclaimation", grey Concrete and bits of Gravel for the color gradient. Dirt will be swept by wind to the sides and the back of the hanger, while the "Slab" would be in the middle, and leading to out of the door

What you could do with the reward-chest issue... When the player steps into the maze have a pressure-plate trigger a redstone line (on a timer). At the end have another pressure-plate trigger another line (on a timer). These 2 lines combined will place the reward Shulker chest. Break the Shulker chest with a piston using a timer or when the door is opened. Hmmm, it will need a Redstone genius to build and some parts hard to hide. At the end of the airstrip have a plane floating on the water with a sign saying: "This is a ship, not a miscalculation."

I'm guessing this is not intended to be a towered aerodrome, but here are some possible features you could add to your plane and airstrip: -wind sock -nav lights / beacon on the plane -runway guide lights -a broken down aircraft somewhere (maybe a semi-cantilever config for variety) -an area in or around your hangar with communication / transmitter equipment (maybe with a little desk or clubhouse or something) -an area in your hangar with aircraft maintenance equipment -bonus: a field upwind of the airstrip designated for emergency landings

There seriously needs to be blinking lights for landing on the runaway when it gets built for extra immersion! Cleo could use her magic and make some aviation employees be scattered about the place keeping it maintained, maybe with a small fuel depot somewhere.
