The mail system is really easy to use. First you dye a shulker black. Rename it "Blackmail". Put a note in it, say to Keralis telling him you know about his bees in the nether and you'll tell everyone unless he pays you 100 diamonds. Then you put the shulker in the square hole on the right. A Keralis stamp in the dispenser on the left and hit the button.

This season really came out at the perfect time. Most of the people nowadays are so immersed in digital world, work and responsibilities, that real life friendship and trips/meetings basically became nonexistent. I am sure a lot of people can relate to having friends, possibly having relationships, but not having time to talk to them, or do any activities together. I am not saying it’s loneliness, but it’s definitely more lonely nowadays than, say, 15 years ago. Hermitcraft this season made everyone in contact together, playing the game they love and doing the things they love TOGETHER. This really eased up their lonely time, and the hermits convey that feeling to viewers. So while watching you feel like you are there. Doing fun stuff with friends. The thing we all miss nowadays.

I know right!!! I've been spending most of my days off from work just binging SOOOOOOO many Hermits' perspectives of this season! There's been so many silly, heartwarming, and dramatic moments in this season, and it's all because of how all the Hermits are putting in the effort to interact with each other more often than not!! ^w^

About that, I think a siting pose would be nice to add to minecraft. It could be like shifting, but you get even lower and you don't move (unless pushed, or something like that). It is a small thing, but it would be cool for videos and multi-player servers.

I agree with the update conversation about trying to find structures and slime chunks. I shouldn’t have to use an outside tool to find a slime chunk. The rest I’m almost ok with not finding just to get you exploring, but you can’t visually find a slime chunk.

All valid suggestions for new QOL features, but 100% agree with Jev that there needs to be an in-game method of locating structures - we have Cartographer maps AND Dolphins for locating Buried Treasure, Eyes Of Ender for the Stronghold, and tall mountains to locate Ancient Cities beneath, but other structures are hit and miss whether you stumble upon them randomly. I've still not located any Trail Ruins yet over the last year despite starting 3 new worlds! We shouldn't need to use ChunkBase to locate things like Mansions, Ocean Monuments, Nether Fortress', Bastions etc. Likewise, there are a lot of obscure mechanics of the game that still rely on using a Wiki to learn. Eg, Potion brewing recipes, Smithing Template duping, Allay duplication etc. Even the method of locating a Stronghold, activating a Ruined Nether Portal, enchanting, or applying Emchanted Books to gear can be quite obscure to a new player who has never watched a single Minecraft video or looked at the Wiki. There are a few other changes I would like Mojang to add. Firstly, they should look at Vanilla Tweaks and try to eliminate as many of those fixes as they can, to reduce how many bug fixing tweaks are required. Secondly, give mid-to-end game uses for early game items and mob drops - so many items already in the game that are under-used, or literally have one use + potion brewing. Thirdly, drag stacking (drag across inventory items) needs to be a Vanilla thing - that's one aspect from modded that I really miss. I would also appreciate having some kind of inventory expansion, whether it be extra slots, a secondary Ender Chest-like inventory, or simply Backpacks like in modded. As for Stairs & Slabs (and vertical Slabs), it makes sense to add these now at a time when creativity is high and a lot of people are sharing builds via KZbin, Tik-Tok etc. Expanding the block sets of blocks that are already in the game makes so much more sense than constantly adding new block sets!
@GothBoyUK9 ай бұрын
The addition of the Nature and Structure Compasses in Modded Minecraft has been a game changer for me. I don't have to spend time wandering around trying to find a particular biome or building, I just look for it with the relevant compass. It's definitely something that should be incorporated into vanilla Minecraft in some way.
@thomasfplm9 ай бұрын
For inventory, I think a simple solution would be a toolbelt, it would take the pants place, so there would be a tradeoff, like the Elytra. And it could give the player an extra hot-bar line that could be swapped with a button. It could have more than one tier, like one that uses shulker boxes in the recipe that would have extra hot-bar lines.
@Subatomicfish9 ай бұрын
20:55 it may have just been dream nonsense feeling significant, but I've yet to see any hermits this season make use of bundles by keeping basic utility things in a bundle to keep on their person at basically all times, so I wonder if that could've been the epiphany in question. You can keep your ender chest (multiple if you have a tendency to accidentally break them with a fortune pick), a crafting table, stonecutter, anvil, leads, basic crafting materials, even a clock that you can keep at the very bottom that you look at just by looking at the bundle in your inventory. There's loads of other great specific use cases, but if you wanted you could take this idea to the extreme and basically keep an entire base on you at all times.

QoL ideas: 1) Parity between bedrock and Java (redstone!) 2) Release code for Bedrock and change T&C to allow moddable versions to be shared 3) Item scroller / litematica / Nvidium(/Sodium) to base game 4) All renewables (incl sand!) 5) Moveable tile entities 6) Nether + end to same build height as overworld (incl terrain generation) 7) Update transport system (better minecarts...trains?) Long term: Minecraft: Rust edition (for 101% parity)

Your whole base situation is so good! Your house is gorgeous and I love how you treated the lake when you installed your very cozy basement. I know it was X and will be False as well, but I love the path and the river (as well as the little bridge).. it feels really cozy and I think it adds to your base so nicely. As well as how the mailbox integrates with all of it! Your entire base area feels incredibly cozy and I am very jealous. Something I've really realised lately is that while I think all of the other hermits' builds are so cool in Minecraft, your latest bases are some of the only ones where I feel like I'd want to live there or be there in real life, namely, Season 9 and 10. I've got good money on your base being one of the most cozy this season! It's a tough running.. Bdubs, Pearl, Joel, Keralis, and Beef all seem to be gunning for that feeling too. It's a great season for us coziness-lovers! (Also, that submerged ancient city was so terrifying and SO COOL.)

This may just be a game, but Mojang's Minecraft is a global household name, and--like it or not--has to be careful about what kind of messages they send to the world. The 'dolphin saddles' won't happen because of irl ethical situations that have, and _still_ occur. It's why many of the peaceful mobs don't drop anything when slain; the real-world counterpart is endangered/threatened. You'll be rewarded for taking care of them (farms like "nether bees" notwithstanding 😂), and get nothing if you kill them. Sometimes not even xp orbs. You get Dolphin's Grace, and that's akin to holding on while they zoom along towing you. In many ways that's good enough, and if roads like the dolphin's grace aqueduct highway are anything to go by, still exploitable just the same. Not saying I don't appreciate how cool it'd be to have 'an axolotl army swooping ahead while you wield an enchanted Trident astride a dolphin', that very much is a really cool fantasy image for taking on an ocean monument, but there's a balance Mojang have to think about all the same. And with overlords like MS looming behind them, PR is suddenly more important than childish fun in some ways. Hard agree on making the vanilla inventory more picked-block shulker box-friendly, though. That's a really good thought, and would save time with having to constantly go back to your chest/shulker monster when working on a large build.

id like a minecraft update where u can place things on bottom halfslabs (carpets, lanterns, torches, flower pots etc.) and connecting textures when placing something on the bottom side of a top half slab (like a chain would connect half a block space up to connect to the halfslab) and simular ideas can be used for things with stairs as well (add carpet that fixes itself to the shape of the stair) big thing is that these type of 'block changes' should be changeable while holding a empty hand or something. or a lot of farms and suff will probably break somehow

I'd love for every structure to have cartography interaction or something similar, that being said imo finding a slime chunk is already pretty easy without chunkbase, as long as you're okay with putting in some manual work and turning on chunk borders. About 1/10 chunks are slime chunks so if you go down to y=40 and dig out a 4x4 chunk section, putting walls on each chunk border you have an extremely high chance of finding at least one slime chunk. Of course if you're trying to find a double slime chunk then this is a terrible method and at that point you really do need to use chunkbase or a mod.
