Hi False! Regarding your squid farm... While drowned aren't aggressive towards axolotls, axolotls are aggressive towards drowned and may attack them. The drowned then retaliate and may kill the axolotls. My suggestion would be to add a guardian in a minecart instead to kill the squid.

The other thing you could try is a conduit to try to kill the drowned before they kill the axolotls.

I actually kind of like the look of the nether portal not totally having all of the copper. It makes it look like it used to be broken and you used the copper to support some of it, but not all of it needed it.

Maybe add some rubble on the terrain for the destroyed/scorched tower, aswell as a small rock under some of the roots to show that they grew over the rocks but erosion has made them smaller making the "floating" roots make more sense

Some crumbled stone from the "ruin" that houses the nether portal would be that subtle touch that shows the age of the structure. I'll have to see in the next several vids what you choose to do next! 🙂

5:01 I know I'm late but maybe somebody will see this and benefit. You should've put a post from the bottom of the river going up to the height you want. Then you can connect an axolotl to each piece and have them at every height, creating a squid blender

Ironically the best way for False to get ink from squid in a river… is to destroy rivers nearby to limit the spawning areas and where the axolotls can possibly run off to. I’ll guess… IDK… depending on the length of time she recorded… 20 ink sacks(?).. . or if Iskall comes by, 12 bamboo. 14:58 Suggestion: Find a river in a Desert Biome. Section off a portion of it and remove everything else. Add some lighting in the river; frog lights, glow stone, or sea lanterns. No zombies or drowned can be in the farm… they will kill the axolotls. Add your drop off section and encase the area with your Allay’s inside. The speed just depends on how many axolotls you add as they will have to kill fish and squid alike. The faster they kill emptying the water the faster more things spawn for a chance at spawning squids. -- Falsie!! One more thing! I’ve noticed a LOT of the Hermits skimping out on there outros… any reason?

i think the bamboo block would look good as a roof on your portal building. It would create sort of a hut type vibe. as far as the tree you could ask bdubs or pearl to help; they are both amazing tree builders.

It probably wouldn't work where you want it to, but I've had success with using foxes to hunt squid instead of axolotls. Just take a section of river, cordon it off so the foxes can't wander off and the allays can't fly away, and you end up with a constant supply of salmon, bone meal, and ink sacs. It does need a lot of foxes though.

Regarding the axolotls, they are aggroing onto fish which they cannot reach, which then renders them useless until their current target either dies or despawns. Also, they have a long cooldown between targetting passive mobs. I can't think of a meaningful EZ solution to the matter, you might simply be best off keeping a side stock of them for breeding, then letting fresh ones loose into the waterway occasionally. The more there all, the less the cooldown will interfere with the farm's efficiency. They end up taking care of themselves pretty well underwater, so really you just lose them to wandering, or chasing fish, out of where you want them. I think tying them up prevents them from using their recovery ability.

What about name tagging the little guys they might of de spawned after some time. & on the tree what a bout a 5th branch coming out just below the trap doors between the top 2 branches are going out the way they are pointing. & a lot more leaves on top of the tree on the branches. The tree really needs a lot more leaves about 1/3 as mush more. A tree that large needs more leaves.
