19:17 Skizz's lava idea is so good as (correct me if I'm wrong) the whole group was wanting to turn "magic mountain" into a volcano. So the lava is coming from the mountain in a pre-eruption or in an eruption.

If the lights in the waterfalls look too bright and distracting, you can use copper bulbs and wax them to the intensity you want! Great video btw! The music choice for this video was so nice.

a half slab and stair water puddle in the cave camp would be rather appropriate, and maybe a sneaky water source hidden in the roof to drip water down perhaps even some fencing and signs, to make it seem like the would be camper is breaking into a place they shouldn't also soul campfires for the creepy effect

Gem I loved your basalt connection, because its so true! Not only is basalt a sign of lava in the area, but former lava hot spots make for some of the most fertile land in the world! It makes so much sense when your base is so lush and beautiful. :)

I adore when Gem hangs out with Sizz, Impulse, or Tango because its just a rambunctious daughter with a dad! Its so much fun watching her mess with them, like Sizz is both tickled and eager to have fun! When it's Impulse, she teaches him new things and is embarrassed afterwards, and with Tango it's pure mischief and hijinks!! You can clearly see how much fun and adoration they all have for one another!

If you cant fit an airstrip of your own, maybe you could make a plane identical to Keralis in your area, maybe a crashed\emergencey landed and its being overgrown\taken over by the jungle :) that way you tie his base into your area too in a way

between the ancient factory ruins, skull, kraken, and other elements, it seems like your area is one with more eerie/bad luck lore. maybe a crashed airplane in the water or mountain would tie in with keralis's airplane landing strip and add to the lore?

Maybe you could have some testing chambers in as a part of the fortress. You could have zombie villagers in a few along with some other mobs that the scientists were researching. The chambers would look similar to the one that is hidden underground. Im excited to see how the lore and the village evolves and changes with every new amazing build!

For the lava, volcanoes will sometimes produce lava tubes, which are just tunnels where the lava flows once were, but the exterior cooled off and hardened

I've felt that with my current project, I have been free handing all my builds in my survival world. It's been great for growth as a builder and not worrying too much about getting it right. Starting can often be the hardest part and things can always be changed, if I don't like it. That's Minecraft after all.

Some Geology facts ✨✨ Lava flows (that are somewhat safe to be around) often happen with shield volcanoes! the lava is iron rich, heavy and thick so it’s not as explosive as quartz rich lava which often occurs in composite volcanoes! (the classic triangle looking ones) :0) (Hawaii vs. Mount Saint Hellens) Also, Basalt is an igneous rock if I am remembering correctly, and is the extrusive version of Gabbro(intrusive)! so using it outside of the volcano is pretty accurate, Basalt is also iron rich so the lava flow + basalt makes sense! I love Geology ✨✨ 24:52

The basalt between Skizz's base and your skull I really enjoy the idea of a lava flow that meets with the river and adds another area of basalt/black stone shore in which you can put another pillar with a note block and have lava and water meeting with a tentacle or other aspects of the base that also allow them to be tied together while also maybe adding a boundary and another point of interest.

I love the glowing waterfalls. Great job on the terrain! I was so invested in seeing the lava at skizz's base that I was so sad that was it for today haha. I think it could be cool to line the edges of the lava with a dark block (ie obsidian) in areas where it might logically sit for longer, like where lava cools after being on the surface long enough.

If you want a plane within your build, why not consider a type of sea plane. You could possibly have a basin it can reside in. Maybe even a crane/catapult to make it seem like its launched from the fort, but lands in the water on its return.

absolutely love how gem can build awesome stuff without having to go full insane with yeah let's just gather like 54 stacks of every block in the game. "I might just need 12 froglights" is something none ever said on hermitcraft probably :D Also it would be absolutely awesome to kind of merge the skizz lava idea with some parts of your base, like have palm tree being kind of burnt or have some fiery blocks in the skull side that meets the lava!
