I loved everyones reaction to the pumpkins, I was laughing everytime there was a scream, specially Scar, he's so fun to scare as he literally reacts like a cartoon character. Also, obviously loved the episode, I'm really liking the scientist Gem arc

I must warn you about growing pumpkins. Pumpkins grow like CRAZY. If you are not careful you will have endless pumpkins.

Both of the sounds are really good, but there were a couple times both went off and the sounds together worked really well! If you have another enderman and breeze head, pairing them together could sound really cool and creepy

You should have gotten Mumbo with this and show him the redstone. As I'm sure that he'll be very impressed at what you did. Also it would be a good way for you to compliment him on his building properly.

I love the idea of bringing the Horrors to life with Redstone! You should use magma elevators triggered by Skulk sensors in the water to have the monster suck you down towards its jaws.

If you use an item frame and armor stand book with a redstone circuit, you can dynamically change the scarecrow pose back and forth. So when they are resting on the surface, they start moving, like pointing or scary pose.

My love of pumpkins makes it difficult to see them in a wet muddy patch. In real life when pumpkins are curing in the sun they need to be in a dry airy place, otherwise you get slimy stinky mess. I understand the darker mud for spooky lore; the scariest part for me would be the loss of all those pumpkins to rot and decay.

For the redstone armourstand thing, you could use a sculk shrieker which is only activated by a player ( Tango used this in Decked Out 2 ).

This was one of my favorite Hermitcraft episodes this season! Perfect mix of creativity and social interactions. I'd love to see more small-scale episodes like this taking the viewer through the whole creation process, from idea --> proof of concept --> testing with other players.

Lore idea: Ever since the monster (the kraken thingy) appeared, everyone was terrified. So much so, they didn’t do anything. In fact, some thought it was best to bow down to it, treating it like a god so it would have mercy. However, people were so secluded that the didn’t really say anything, and they let their once bright town fade into corruption and rot. There was only a small group of people willing to speak out, calling to fight back. However, they were ignored, for their ideas were too bold to the quiet people that lived here. As the sky turned gray and hope was nearly dead, they began to get persecuted by the people worshiping the monster, who then ran the town. They went into hiding, yet many didn’t make it. However, they haven’t caved in. They’re still fighting back, whether it be chanting ancient runes and pleading to any gods that could help or leaving little traces behind so the next generations can piece together the story and rid the town of its dark curse. Edit: DAMN I knew it was long but sheesh, I need to calm down

Absolutely relate to the dog harvesting carrots. My dog used to steal entire ears of corn from my neighbors fields. He was mostly fine with it, he had plenty and it was near impossible to stop her, but it was very funny.

Gem, the scarecrow is great 😅. Especially the scar's reaction.... Also if you move the sensor a little deeper, so the armor stand will pop out when someone is on the path to the cave, and it won't go off as you walk near it. Second thought add a axe 🪓 on it's hand.

I grow those little decorative gourds every year! And how they started, was through my dogs digestive system😅 He got a hold of one of them from my front porch (that I bought), and while they’re safe to eat, just not textured to eat for humans, the crunch is fun and good for dogs. I spoke with his vet on this. Ended up having to transplant them from their places around my yard into my garden, and I grew like, 30 little gourds last year on 3 plants. This year my harvest, using seeds from last year, was over 100. Sadly, I had to rip them out early due to a severe mold that was ripping through them at an alarming rate…. I’m still sad. But my front porch is super cute!😂

talking about dogs harvesting produce, when i was little my family had an old english sheepdog named barnaby and while he had been the runt of his litter, for some reason he used to love shucking corn. my dad would just throw him a whole corn on the cob and barnaby would shuck all the leaves off, leaving the corn intact. mind though that this was an old english sheepdog. their mouths aren't really food safe, which would drive me to have to shuck corn if i wanted to have corn on the cob not covered in dog slobber.

You can use the drip leaf for the pumpkin patch instead of just the leaf blocks. Edit: Baby mode can just swap the sounds to cats or something
