Sounds like the post office should certainly encourage people to "shop online" and get their wares shipped to them. Same with maybe adding a "printing press/marketing firm" building that offers to mail advertising to the hermits when a store is ready/restocked. ;)

Idea You should tie up with Shops. Charge them 20% for home delivery. Hermits can place orders through mail, which you can then forward to shops, that can then send orders to post office which can be forwarded to the hermits. Peoples could also not set up a shop and just take orders directly at their base. You have the infrastructure to make amazon on hermitcraft.

You should let people pick out their own group of stamps. So for example sell 15 stamps for a diamond, then let people pick if that is 5 Etho 5 Pearl 5 Tango, or 15 Grian, or 1 of 15 different people. Then sell (and maybe give away to new customers) a mega pack of one or two stamps for every hermit for say 2 diamonds.

With the permits establishing an economy of sorts, it might be kind of cool to set up a Wanted board in the post office. This could be where hermits post bounties when shenanigans/storylines happen, but it could also be a way to put up requests for upcoming large builds. Might be better than trying to send "mass mailers" through the auto system.

I like the mail-system. You could some kind of membership, where Hermits can order stamps via mail and pay the same way, so they get all the orderd stamps and one for the postoffice is "for free", so they can use it for the next stamp-order. Add in another little fun bonus, if you wish, but it has the convinience of not having to go over every time.

I have a suggestion for the mailbox in the post office... right now the button to send the mail looks like wall decoration because it blends in so much, maybe you could make it blue or some other color that would stand out more? I'm sure someone else came up with the same idea but what if you had a "Redstone Bundle" where it came with 2 of the redstoners on the server stamps. And 1 for Bdubs. lol. Or a Builder Bundle with 2 of the builders on the server. That would be fun. Maybe even a fisher bundle for the fisher's, a Magic Mountain with all those living on the cherry mountain, a neighborhood bundle with all the ministers in 'the neighborhood' and other fun bundles like that.
