the only problem i have with the chairs is that they're not centered and one is close to a wall, making it so that you can see shading on it a little bit. I definitely agree, though. Falling into a void-like room with Grian just sitting in a chair a few dozen blocks out would have a great effect.

Idea for the holes that let you fly through your base: Make them increase in size as they go further down. Not by much but I'm sure by a block or two it would make it look pretty good and remove the safety hazard of moving onto a layer at high speeds. Also the chairs seem to be a pretty good idea. (PS. Your map isn't completed the bottom left corner is unfinished and it's bugging me. [PPS. You have glass behind your dirt wall meaning if someone flies around the outside of your base they will see what secret thing you're building.]

Hello, so two ideas here... (1) For the infinity room, you could further prevent players (Mumbo) from accidentally finding the exit by putting the exit one block higher? You would have to jump to get to it. (2) Also, for the first floor lighting, you could place a small four leaf clover design. I imagine the leaves alternating between magma blocks and sea lanterns. Red, blue, red, blue. WHEN you're done with this, you would then have two infinity symbols placed - a red infinity, and a blue infinity symbol. This could even go on the ceiling, but I like the idea of many small circles on the ceiling.

Hoppers are transparent blocks, put sea lanterns under the block and you get the same effect

There's six slots in your sugarcane farm. Sugarcane grows roughly once every 18 minutes. That means your farm produces one sugarcane every three minutes on average. There are 43 sugarcane in the chest, and five more at two block height, which means there's 48 total sugarcane. 48*3 = 144 minutes of growth time. A sugarcane farm will produce roughly slots*60/18 sugarcane per hour. In this case 6*60/18=20 sugarcane/hour. So your problem is scale, and your design doesn't help. You could trivially replace the observers and most of those hoppers with flowing water and either a single observer (or a couple, depending on your loss aversion) at second block height, or just use some kind of slow timer.

According to the wiki, bamboo grows on average every 204.8 seconds. So for every "slot" you will get roughly 60 minutes / 204.8 seconds = 17.6~ bamboo per hour. Of course, that's the max rate. Real results with be lower due to crops often not being harvested immediately. Of course, bamboo and sugar cane are funky examples where it's generally more efficient to pack more "slots" in instead of maximizing the output per slot. So, for example, I have a 640 slot flying machine-based bamboo farm. In theory the max this farm could output on average would be 11250 bamboo/hour, but because it uses a flying machine real results will be somewhat lower than that. A lot of the more typical crops are far more annoying to figure out, since growth time for them is based off of a bunch of things, like whether the surrounding soil is hydrated farmland, or whether there are identical crops adjacent.

Infinity room idea: Build a dispenser with bottles of water in it under the chair , that can get powered by another player from outside of the room. You could say: "Before we start, do you want a drink?", and you have two voicechats, one with him and one with the other, muted player (so he doesn't accidentally say sth) The chairs are a little bit too big, maybe you culd try to use minecarts in stairs so it actually looks like you are sitting on a chair (I hope it still works in 1.13) How to do it: minecart on snowlayers under the staircase. The matrix room should be called the "plane of infinity." And put the chairs behind a wall so it's like hidden but suddenly appears when you get behind the wall. Also add a table and stuff so it's an invisible room in a plane of infinity. Sort of like a round table for meetings, hidden from the rest of the world.

And all you would have to do to find the chair is not turn while walking into the secret room just keep moving forward and the chairs appear. There is a wall with a hole at the end so keep walking and they just pop into frame. Or just have a button that pushes the chairs up, get mumbo to do it.
