It would probably look cool to have the terrain around the mech's "feet" be kind of scorched, or just like, messed up?! So it looks like the weight of the mech is making it sink into the ground a bit!

Heck yeah! Some magma blocks, or at least basalt (the top of the block) with dark/light grey concrete powder - that would look awesome. Maybe like some little craters showing "foot print" paths. Campfires placed beneath the terrain so some puffs of smoke come up would be amazing too.

Hey False for foliage, you should look at Scar's turf war battlefield thing for inspiration! He made lots of alien-looking fungal plants and I reckon it could look great with the warped ambience if you change up the color palette!

I think the crab needs to have some weapons pointed _towards_ the base. As is, it's symmetrical so hard to tell if its leaving the base or headed towards it. Without a big weapon pointed at the base, casual hermits will think the base sent the crab to explore, and miss the mortal terror

Lore: The natives from the nylium planet built the big robot to attack the city and its growing urbanization but the city built mechs and both sides are in a stalemate situation.

Clearly it's a battle between the Circuloids and the Hexacon. The Circuloids want to make everything a circle, but the Hexacon say that's impossible because it's Minecraft and there are no circles, so you should settle with the second-best shape: the hexagon.

That mech looks insanely cool. It looks especially menacing on the maps. (I have an idea but it might mean rebuilding a leg) It would be cool if one of the legs was jabbing into the ground and then like rock and debris was flying everywhere or water splashing everywhere if you choose the front leg. Also, if you add the giant laser, you could have it firing at the base but with a big blue (possibly hexagonal) energy shield blocking the blast. All very sci-fi but I guess that's the kinda vibe of this build. If I think of anything else, I'll edit my comment

For the lore of your base I would suggest is that this is a new planet that your civilization has colonized. You have developed a city for your civilization to grow but now you need to start terraforming the area around the city to start expanding and this robot was built by this civilization to help in the terraforming process.

You could say that technological beings have revolted, the rest of the world has fallen and your city is the last bastion. the only reason your base has survived is because they have always worked with tec never just using it as a tools and respecting their sentience.. when the tec had it, not only that but modifying themselves with tec.. so when the uprising of the tec happened the mega city stood strong as their wasnt really a clear organic or technological life form... just the city and its unity. Thats why the tech have sent in the queen mech to try and destroy the last traces of sentient organic life on the planet. Love your videos false hope you like the lore!

This is an amazing robot build, and a quick reminder if you need andesite, and have a bunch of spare cobble and diorite lying around, you can craft them into andesite pretty quick

The robot walker is so cool! I think instead of doing the laser on the top, you should follow the book (war of the worlds) illustrations. They have large looking radar dishes on the front which shoot lasers. I think that would end up looking really sweet!

The two things I think the mech could use is a command room inside overlooking things, maybe with a map of the area, and a cage/cages with captives. Imagine looking inside and seeing a couple of creepers (maybe a villager or pillager or two) in iron or glass cages

Hey False, about that research tower, I think that (what I would do, you still you do as whatever your doing is usually amazing) making the tower simple (single roof) would be most logical if the biome was dangerous where the multi story/roof design feels more at home if there wasn't a lot of immediate danger to the structure (as that extra roof is an extra thing that can be broken by angry aliens)

to solve the lighting issue under the drone, maybe you could add some light-emitting plants with sea lanterns and soul lanterns, and maybe even magma blocks! And you could spread them around the whole biome too, it would give the biome some awesome visual interest at night.

The Mech is patrolling the borders of your base. It is crewed by independent robots (iron golems?). The drones are not the enemy, but are, instead, being seeded by the mech as it patrols around.

Suggestion: Go epic! Massive laser firing at your base, melting straight through the main tower and continuing on towards whatever is in that direction. Add some movement with flying debris sputtering from the melted hole. Move the front leg of the mech forward, and the back leg more under it so it looks like it's recoiling from the force of the blast. Laser sea lanterns surrounded by red glass maybe. If that's in the direction of Tango, perhaps one of his towers may suffer collateral damage for your little war.

Awesome build! The lore is obvious to me, the build became very narrative with the latest additions - Its the base of the Planetary Defense Force and the Claw is a Terraforming / Attack machine from outer space, that's why the earth was transformed to nylium around it. The robots in the base are the PDF's main weapons against the invasion force - the drones / drone swarm keep the Claw distracted until the robots have powered up. Obvious, right? :)

I think it'd be really cool if you did a building that got destroyed by the mech on its rampage towards your base. Just all kinds of ruinage and rubble and fire, maybe some armor stand statues of the bodies of the people that were inside. Maybe one or two people survived and are running away, or possibly they're gonna shoot at the mech with their laser guns in a futile attempt to fight back? Idk, just an idea.

You asked about alien foliage ideas and into my head popped the image of a black tree (coal block, obsidian or black stone) with dual trunks, like a rectangle, with end rods in the empty space inbetween, with foliage made up of some crazy colour, maybe blocks from the Nether foliage or something? Also just thought of a seperate tree maybe with purpur blocks for a trunk, but instead of leaves its got an organic foliage shape made of glass and filled with lava.

Might be pretty difficult, especially in the space. But if the second robot sit was already "activated" and just starting to leave its alcove, while the pilot of the first you built is rushing to get in it could go well with the sort of battle in progress story the build is starting to tell.

Possible Lore: False Towers was once a bustling city full of humans who had access to outer space (The Rocket). They extracted precious minerals and resources from uninhabited planets all over the galaxy. But one planet wasn't as lifeless as they thought. A race of creatures lived there, protecting the rest of the universe from a dark technology that was a failed attempt to create a stasis technology for space flight. The humans came, and while the race of aliens hid, the humans stole the technology, not knowing what they had obtained. They brought the corrupted technology back to False Towers, and placed it in the central tower (The Glowing Ball At The Top Of The Main Tower). But soon, the technology corrupted the city. The humans died, and the land became overgrown with vines and plants. And now the creatures are back to destroy the technology once and for all so no one else will die.

You should build a wall to separate your base to the outside world so it looks like it has not been explored yet and the lore won't get mest up love your vids and keep up your great work. Also, if you don't have a lore then it should be a civilization escaping from their home planet and is placing their home in this alien world while exploring this new world.

The aliens could be there to learn about the people in the city. When the aliens arrived they could have taken people into their ship to learn about them, but the city wasn't happy so they attacked the ship to get their people back and the aliens felt threatened which is why they have a blaster pointed toward the city on their ship. Great video!

Hi False, great job! Love it! As an idea, maybe make impact splashes at each leg in the water? Maybe even lift one of the legs as if it is in motion and have debris on the bottom of the foot so simulate movement? I would also love to see a red/green laser beam firing from your base and hitting one of the legs.

My idea for the lore: The people living in the base polluted the surrounding area, aka the nylium and instead of actually stopping the polution they decided to build a giant robot set to the task of cleaning it up, but instead of coding it they just made it be a neurel network that's only task is to get rid of the polution. The robot realizes the pollution is coming from the cyber punk city so it seeks out to destroy it.

I think that if you build the wonky leg on the Mech a little bit curved at the first joint it will look more life like. So instead of it slightly curving down from the second joins to the first joint make it curve up.

Great build False - in war of world there is mention Red week perhaps some patches of red (crimson nylium - roots and vines ) where the alien craft has infected the ground.

Possible lore idea: The False Ltd tower and city has been abandoned after some catastrophic event and an alien species came to visit the tower and research what is going on, but the security system in the city is still functioning so the drones and iron golem security guards are fighting the aliens.
