Ok, so Grian and Iskall pranked Mumbo, Mumbo decided to retaliate and the way he did it for iskall was to gift him a whole chest full of diorite, Iskall decided to pay it forward by pranking False because he previously lost a competition to her, he created a giant chicken with a grian face pooping diorite on her base and leaving a sign with his name on it. Cleo came along and changed the sign to Ren. So when False saw the prank she decided to get back at Ren, by roping in Grian. The earlier competition I talked about that she won against Iskall...well, it was held by Grian, and the winner got a coupon that allowed them to elect Grian's help for any prank. So they build a rollercoaster of death for Ren together. Ren found out Cleo was the one behind the sign change so he decided go after her instead. He gathered his business partners (he owned two shops/corporations with those two, one with Doc and one with Impulse) and created a ghost ship trap for Cleo. But the sign thing happened again. Somebody came along and put signs around Grian's base leading him to the Ghost ship. He got there, fell into a trap, and died by the hands of 3 zombies that were named after the people who created the trap. (BTW, Cleo denied the accusations that it was her who did it again.) The thing is, Grian killed one of the zombies before he died...it was the one named Impulse, so he never knew the third preparator. But he saw that the others were Doc and Ren. Remember how I said they own a business together? Well, it was a stock exchange, and they held a lot of diamonds in their vault. So he plans a heist. He waits for those two to get off the server, and when they do he asks the only person left on the server, Tango, to rendezvous with him immediately, gives him no explanation and a disguise and infiltrates the stock exchange together, they steal all the diamonds and hide it somewhere. But that's not all, before leaving Grian messes with Doc's bush. Its a bush that Doc made with armor stands. He spent 7 hours and hundreds of armor stands making it in a stream. Grian replaced the leaves with his own heads. When Doc saw that someone messed with his bush he lost his head. He decided it meant war. Grian gathered together a team of people that have been on his side during the prank wars and Doc gathers the ones opposing him (btw, I think I forgot one prank, I think it was supposed to be a harmless prank against Impulse since he left unscathed after the ghost ship incident, I believe Cleo did it with the help of her close friend Joe. Joe wanted it to be harmless and have no deaths involved, but when Cleo showed it to Grian because Grian was the one who faced the burnt of impulse's trap Grian decided to put some lava at the end of Joe and Cleo's prank so that it kills impulse. Joe didn't like that as an advocate for peace. So Joe ended up joining Doc's team). Anyway, that's how basically the whole server got together on opposing sides. Grian decided to build a defensive base against Doc's army in an open plains. Doc decided to build a base and an offensive tower just opposite of the G-team base. And that's how the Civil war started. If I go into the details of the war itself it'll be a much longer paragraph than how it started, so I'll stop here. BTW, concorp wasn't a part of it so they sold arms and weaponery to both sides and profited. They also incited both sides on by laying traps and framing the other sides. Mumbo wasn't initially a part of any of any of it, but Grian and Iskall came to him saying that Doc might try to hire him so he was to act as a double agent...and Doc did indeed come to hire him. And if you wanna know who actually put the signs in Grian's base that basically started everything, well, it was revealed at the very end by someone. It was one of the greatest plot twists ever. And it eventually led to the start of Sahara, one of the largest redstone projects ever and the formation of Architechs, a corporation run by Grian, Mumbo, and Iskall that directly competes against Concorp, the largest business tycoon in season 6 run by Cubfan and Scar. Oh right, and after the war some mysterious individual returns the diamonds Grian and Tango stole from the stock exchange. Doc and Ren wanna find out who did it so they elect the help of Grian who owns a detective shop. So Sherlock Grian, Docm Watson, and RenDog the meddling mutt decides to solve the mystery and find the mysterious Jangler. Season 6 had a lot of things happen. One of the best seasons ever. The season for plotlines and branching stories. lol

A PEICE OF LANDSCAPE ADVICE: TIP 1. This’ll get lost in comments BUT maybe put some lily pads in you’re pond. Maybe even make it a bit deeper if you’re gonna put fish in it. I think a couple fish like you said would look really cool! TIP 2. Landscaping is not symmetrical and it’s ok to keep redoing and tweaking the landscape until you’re satisfied. TIP 3. Look at other people’s bases for inspo. Personally, what I imagined when you said water feature was a little water fountain that looks like it’s coming out of a rock, draining down into a pond. TIP 4. Practice. Practice. Practice. If you get frustrated by how it looks or feel you can’t get it right, leave it and do something else. Let your brain rest and reset and new ideas will come to mind. Think on it and look at more inspo. Maybe even get other people’s input because everyone’s brain is wired differently so maybe they’ll see something you didn’t or maybe they’ll have an idea. Hope this helps !

There is a difference between RP and stage deception. The former is obviously untrue, and it is fun. Stage deception might be called for in some circumstances, but should be avoided if you are as bad at acting as Impulse is.

I think the tress just need to be a bit more “fluffy” (add some air between leaves, spread out the leaves a bit so the trees look more like broccoli and less like a q-tip, if that helps?!). The pond looks good though. Maybe it would help to pick a theme (like a Japanese garden for example) so you don’t feel like you are just winging it the whole time. Most of the mycelium in Scar's shop probably actually was dirt that cub planted roses on, but the mycelium spread into it from somewhere, displacing the roses. You can see the mycelium lost the race against grass in some areas, so the roses survived there.

Personal minecraft garden tip I figured out while working on a project of my own: get a bunch of leaf blocks, vines, string (to stop the vines spreading where you don't want them to), and glazed terracotta (I recommend either pink, yellow or red, but you can probably make other colors work too). Mix some leaf blocks together, then add a couple of glazed terracotta blocks at random intervals. Use the vines to cover the terracotta, and the string to make sure the vines don't spread. BOOM! Easy flowering bush design. It works even better if you can have the bushes overgrowing and hanging over the edge of something. A thing I think that could benefit your trees is to look at the shapes of branches, and how they split off from the trunk along a spiral pattern as they go up. The tree is trying to fill out all of the space above it in order to grab as much light as possible by staggering where the branches cover. At the very least, I think your trees could benefit from you sending thick branches off to the sides to make a wider canopy. If you just add leaves without any branches at the core, it looks fake. Also, fence gates also can make some great additions to trees, especially in their open position placed parallel and next to a wood block near the end of a branch, making short sub-branches that go sideways beneath leaf blocks. This can make it look like the canopy is supported by a much more robust network. Also, take a while to look at Scar's trees in this world and on the Mesafied map for season 4, and his trees in the season 6 map, specifically his giant tree landscaping shop. Lastly, perhaps you should consider coordinating flowers with your base colors, and hit up a swamp for some of those sweet, sweet orchids. Cheers and congrats on the point in Decked Out.

In the garden you can add a thing of wheat in a an area with tall grass, gives the appearance of grass thats dried out. Maybe a grow a pumpkin/melon or two, and put some reeds around, varying their heights with string. In front of the pond, stretching across, you can build a little trellis with fences and hang lanterns off them, using the chains to give a bit of length as well. You can then run trails of leaves over the top of the trellis.

If you have trouble with the lighting, or just want a warmer light than the sealanterns, shroomlights look like fairy lights or glowing fruit under leaves. It is actually a really cool effect, especially from a distance.

The Civil War actually ended earlier than planned because it really hurt everyone's view counts, so they came up with that last battle to end it. Several of the Hermits talked about it on streams. They likely won't do it again.

Wide trunks are a game changer for custom trees even if they aren’t that tall. Never repeating the shape of the tree trunks is challenging but you’ll get better quick
