I believe the answer to why magma blocks pull you down is because they hurt you and they want players to be able to set traps with them is my guess. if they pushed yuo up they wouldn't present that danger. is my guess anywho lol

Etho actually finished a minigame in his last hermitcraft episode, therefore the hermits were not able to play it anymore. But because you are sich an Etho fan, it would actually be ready for play...

At false base, there is a boat lift sort of... If you look abit closer there is a boat on its way out... It's just doing it in an unconventional way, sailing up a waterfall.. And the build next to hypnos, is hypnos boardwalk. The waterstream in the middle of mumbos base is the "heartstring" its part of the Redstone for the heartbeat.

Funny story on the soul sand/magma bit. Adding air bubbles actually makes the water less dense, causing you to sink. The floating part I couldn't tell you as soul sand doesn't exist in the real world.

You would think that's what happens, but I've swam through huge bubble columns in water before and you really just kinda get pushed around on the surface. It's kinda fun. In the peaks of summer, seagrass leaves produce so much oxygen they burst creating random bubble patches.

It was fun to see your reaction to the other Hermit's bases! It was fun to see you squirrel. That was raw and fun. It was fun to watch you try to figure out builds and what things were and how they worked. I loved that the first thing you do at Grian's Mansion was go behind the back! That was golden! He has the bottom part of the Mansion done as well. That is his main part with his villager trading hall and his sorter. I really hope that you get to explore everyone's bases a little closer too. I know you can't show everything but I hope you get to enjoy everything as well. In Cub's pyramid is my favorite room and that is he build a monument in honor of the Pharaoh... "to himself" as it were! That is my favorite thing. It is by the scarab encloser and across from Target I think. You were close to finding it. Can't wait to see the next group of bases with you. I can't wait to see the wine tasting building you made in the world download. I recreated the cool wood flooring you did at the winery in my base. Thank you again for a wonderful year. The center of Cub's pyramid is the mighty Xibalba (Shee-bal-ba), his multi-item sorter. You just throw items into the pit and they get sorted into the chests around the periphery of the room. It will even remove items from Shulker Boxes. Just throw a Shulker Box into the pit and items get pulled from it and the box gets sorted separately. You can see how Cub built Xibalba and the Shulker Box sorting system in his HC7 episodes 23 and 24. It's based on a design by Rapscallion, and the input was inspired by The Road to El Dorado. Freaking genius.

In Cubs pyramid, the big hole is Shelbaba (spelling optional). You throw stuff in, and it gets sorted back up to where your standing. It’s genius :)

Science time! Lava underwater actually can cause bubbles that pull you down! Water with bubbles in it is lighter than water with no bubbles (the air in the bubbles is very light and takes up space where heavier water was). Floating in water relies on the weight of the water trying to get underneath you and pushing you up. But if the water has enough bubbles in it, the water is lighter than you (or your boat), and you will instantly sink in the water instead. When volcanoes underwater erupt, they release a lot of gas (steam and carbon dioxide, mostly, like a hot soda), and that gas creates tons of bubbles. This can cause ships above to sink. This is also how nuclear torpedoes can sink an entire fleet of ships, and one of the dangers of being in the water near a sinking ship. They create tons of bubbles, which means you sink in the water instead of float. I can't explain Soul Sand, that's some kind of magic, but magma in the water really could pull you down.
