Hermitcraft 8 Episode 15: Gigabase Mountains Are DONE!

Hermitcraft season 8 episode 15! We start out Ep 15 of Hermitcraft S8 by buying Potatoes from Mumbo's shop and soon after we find an AFK Grian in our base. We build him an AFK Roller Coaster and it goes so wrong.

I just had the realization. You are an artist, Scar. Just because it's in a video game, doesn't mean it's not as impressive, or even more, as painters or whatever. You spent days finding the correct colors, and trying to find the right effects, and you did an amazing job! The light grey concrete at the top really does make the mountains look higher! Atmospheric perspective in Minecraft is an amazing thing that you did so well! The dark grey's in the crags and cracks really did add so much depth and volume to the mountains, and that green and brown really add life and tie the whole thing together, and with the other builds around it! He's the best at terraforming definitely. But building is arguable. Sure he's better than most (me included) but I can find better that actually build to proportion. This is an opinion btw. I prefer when buildings look proportionate to their surroundings and his don't cut it. Inside looks fine tho.

I was blinded by that factory build he made last season, I really liked it, and enjoyed the way he explained his building philosophy during the factory build. Who is your favorite builder? I like scar the best, but grian and bdubs are great, and etho is insane with his unique style. I also like that cyclops statue pearl made in her base.

@@siryozen9648 I think it really depends on what they are building exactly. Bdubs is better at smaller builds (although good at castles too). Grian is flexible so I don't really know his specialty. Pearl is great at mega builds and Etho is great at being Etho. I actually don't really know much about his build style since I only saw him build his season 7 base. I really liked how he made chaos just work.

The mountains are unrealistically tall, but it's HIS base, he can do anything with it. And it might look very cool with all the buildings and clouds. What he did with concrete is amazing, I always thought it was impossible to make white concrete look good. The use of gray wool is very cool.
