I agree, but bc of other reasons. As long as iskall finishes a run with multiple unplayed cards, there's not a big reason to make the deck larger. But I feel like treasure cards are more important the deeper you wanna go in the dungeon, so for level 1 and 2 runs I consider ember seeker more valuable than treasure hunter

@KingArthurDent

@@amaryllis0 If you watch some of the more skilled hermits like Etho or Hypno play Decked Out, they actually do try to sneak in the areas with known shriekers. Just because active shriekers change between runs doesn't mean that players shouldn't try to remember them, especially since there is always the chance that they may be active, and sneaking in the shrieker locations you remember will overall allow you to avoid more clank. This is especially important for longer runs where you have to go to level 3, since you are almost guaranteed to have max clank leaving the dungeon if you are not trying to avoid shriekers early on.

Clank increases when you run around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Not hazard. It increases heartbeat and brings out vexes. Hazard increases as time goes on in the dungeon. Doesn't matter if you crouch the entire dungeon, hazard will keep increasing.

I think the problem you have is that you try to play vault hunter in decked out, and they require a different playing style. Since you are used to following a set amount of time in the vault where you run in, loot, kill the monsters and get out but in decked out even though you can't stay forever you still can see when you still have time by watching your deck and listening to the heart beat. So there is a lot to be improved although I believe that you could have had more success than most hermits because of your experience with vault hunters. This is just my opinion and i could be wrong.

This scenario is the same with building decks in TCG games like Magic: The Gathering. Bigger deck means more cards to play, but also means you have less chances drawing the cards you really need when you need it. It's a risk/reward balance, either you pack the deck and hope what you need shows up when you need it, or you slim the deck to what you need most and hope you last long enough to see the end.

Iskall there are skulk sensors that trigger the heartbeat to go faster so running around makes your runs shorter if you do more sneaking they will last much longer

I'm unsure how it is currently but I know that at the start of DO2 there was a minecart collection system running under that victory death room so your elytra might've been collected there!

Embers and treasure are spawned from different droppers, so removing ember seeker will only hurt your drops negativity. Also you need very large decks (40+) before you consider removing cards, since you will just get Stumble cards continuously when you run out of cards

I agree with those saying, it's refreshing to see someone trying to out-juke and out-run their way out of becoming a snack for the dungeon, and Iskall is impressive with them jukes. Also, round min 28:00 it sounds like Tango says "Sneakus!" in an evil frost lord voice and I .. I had to roll it back, and now I can't stop giggling

Overall, I think the most successful part of the phase was that trade with Doc. Tough luck, but good trade! I think there were a couple times when you could have used agro mechanics to your advantage. It takes savagers a few moments to gain agro, and then to drop agro. You can use both of these to your advantage. Better luck next time.

1:41 Move the portal 1 block over, it might not affect portal linking and it would include those chunks in the 3x3 area.

Iskall. This isn't vault hunters. You don't need to go fast. You are meant to go slow.

Hallo Iskall! 💚 With the chunk loading for Bart, the boundary you pointed out is the edge of the entity processing chunk, so what happens is the item entities in the water stream will just pile up at the edge of that chunk border until the area is loaded, then they'll flow to the end. A few things will get picked up by the hoppers but the stack sizes will be too large for most of them to be collected so they'll end up in your lava burning thingy of doom. Basically the same effect as what you said, thought I'd try give a more precise explanation :)

Did you call 'Miss Management' "Sir"? She took that one personally. But forreal Iskall plays this like its Vault Hunters, and it's a blast. Very unique style.

Hazard is done individually for each door every so often, so if everything is closed pretty much immediately you just had horrible luck with a bunch rolling to close at the same time very early on

For your unloaded sorting system problem in the beginning, what about using a chunk loader? Might be easier than rebuilding half the sorting system.

you can add a sticky piston and connect it in the path of water and activate it once you come to overworld so that it can flow into hoppers rather than building complete module but must remember to turn it off before grinding so that it can stop items from flowing just like what you have done for the garbage chamber
