It's a bit disappointing with how radio silent the upload's are with Hermitcraft or this channel in general, I don't mean this as a hater, I just think the fans deserve better. Watched you since S5 and noticed this being the same pattern for awhile now in the later seasons. Back in S7 if I recall it was quite a big time gap in the middle of the season, then in S8 it ended very early, then S9 you came back, made a couple of videos and radio silent. I get that Vault Hunter is very important to you, but if you don't have any desire or plan to make Hermitcraft (or any main channel video), you can at least say something in the community tab or make a pinned comment. Not everyone is going to go through hundreds of VODS to try to find out why you quit Hermitcraft this season/no main channel videos.

He doesn’t need to say anything, I get that you want more Hermitcraft content but he isn’t here solely for your entertainment. He is a person with his own life and if he wants to take a break from hermitcraft then he can because it is ok, he owes no one an explanation or statement. Also Iskall seems to really enjoy vault hunters and even if you may not like it it’s what other people like and also what he is passionate about, if you don’t like it there are other hermits to watch

It's honestly quite frustrating, as a fan of yours, to see the massive amount of content uploaded for Vault Hunters and nothing for 4 months for HermitCraft. I started watching you because of HC and although VH is obviously what you're passionate about right now, you do have a demographic of viewers that watch you for HC. I can't even find anything about if you've completely stopped HC this season because I can't sift through 50 Vault Hunter vids on vodskall85. Was really happy with the projects you started on HC this season, but it seems like it's been abandoned. Extremely disappointing. I'll find it hard to believe the next time you say you're going to finish an HC season.

I to a far extent agree. I started watching Iskall this season of Hermitcraft FOR Hermitcraft, and I've absolutely loved every episode he's put out so far! I understand that it's his life and if he wants to do Vaulthunters then fair enough, but I wish he'd at least acknowledge it. I keep coming back and checking for a new Iskall video but invein. I'd watch VaultHunters but I don't understand it due to the modded nature and I looked back but still didn't understand it. Hope you come back soon Iskall, we all miss you!

@@TheL-vc4od Seriously, I hate to come off as the ungrateful viewer but... I found HC because of him and started watching other HC youtubers bc of him. It's totally fine, and pretty clear, that he wants to focus on VH right now - but to ignore his HC viewers without even just a tweet about pressing pause on the series or cancelling his involvement alltogether? I can empathize if he's burnt out or stressed but with all the VH content, it really doesn't seem like that's the case.

6 years later, I just want to say thank you for putting this series out. I started the modpack and got stuck, went looking for a series to help get myself unstuck and found one of my favourite hermits had a series! Got addicted to the episodes and binged the entire thing before I got myself back into the modpack myself. REALLY looking forward to playing now that I know what to expect. Thanks so much for a wonderful series!

jesus christ so many negative comments. iskall does not owe us ANYTHING. he is following his passions (vault hunters) and will get to hermitcraft IF he wants to. i also feel a little sad and frustrated but dont act PARASOCIAL with it. he is HUMAN, humans get tired of doing things sometimes. let the man LIVE.

I struggle to see how he "doesn't owe us anything" when his viewers are the ones making it possible for him to create content in the first place. a large percentage of which, side note, found him through hermitcraft. If he doesn't want to make HC content? I'm fine with that. It's disrespectful to us go completely radio silent on HC while uploading tons of VH content.

Iskall hasn’t done radio silent he just is focusing more on Vaulthunters and streams which he seems to enjoy and if he enjoys it then it’s not up to you or anyone else to tell him otherwise. It’s kinda sad that you say the fans are what allows him to make content while also sounding like the pushy people that lead so many creators to burn out and quit

@@Redwren I haven't seen a single twitch clip, tweet, youtube post, reddit comment, etc. saying ANYTHING about his involvement in HC. that is literally the definition of going radio silent. Like I said in my comment above (not the reply to this one), its FINE if he wants to do vault hunters but it's disrespectful to his viewers to quit on a series that brought a large percentage of them in and then say nothing about it. And it's mind boggling to say that he doesn't owe us anything. it's the same with mucisians - they owe their success to the people that listen to their music. Without their fans, listeners, viewers, they would literally not be in the position that they are. Does he owe us a specific type of content? No. But I'd like to think that he respects his viewers enough to WANT to owe them an explanation.

@ Radio silent is nothing at all, he still streams Regularly and posts stuff to his second channel. It’s not disrespectful at all for him to want to pursue what makes him happy. If you have a problem with it then just unsubscribe instead of trying to push pressure on someone who may be experiencing burn out from a series he doesn’t want to do

If only there was a way for Iskall to just let us know when he will be busy and away for many months... I dont mind waiting for episodes of course but the way they are presented like ... if he simply let us know somehow "hey guys i will be busy for a while I hope to see you all soon when I return !" That would be completely fine and I would be happy to wait for his return.. but it just feels a bit out of touch when it really seems like he is back and ready to make episodes and motivated , and then just silence for months.. it feels very strange.. it almost feels like IM wrong for hoping to see videos .. I dont want iskall to push himself to do something he doesnt like or not motivated to do.. I just wish the communication was a little bit more clear. I know hes been busy for a while and that is completely fine and understandable, but it feels like its been like 5 times now where he has come back and explained why he was busy and said he was now motivated to do more hermitcraft .. only to disapear again.. and again... and again... I just want to say that its completely fine and understandable if Iskall wants to take some time off, I just wish he would be honest with us and honest with himself about it. Dont try to make it seem like you are back please , its just even more depressing when you leave again. Just admit it if you dont have time for this series. its okay.

@@kacpya3999that's sort of the point though. He just completely disappeared from his channel and you need other fans to inform you that he has a second channel where he regularly posts. A good chunk of these "negative" comments are people asking him to just write a community post communicating to them where/if they can find his content. He doesn't owe anyone anything, but COMMUNICATION with your FANBASE comes with the job of being a KZbinR. Stress also regularly leaves for months on end, but doesn't have to deal with so much negativity because she INFORMS her viewers she'll be gone or to check out her streams if they still want content.

Didn't take long for hermitcraft to be dropped again. Your title is accurate, a mistake investing time watching your series. Why start the series just to drop it? You have fans who just end up disappointed once again. I won't bother with your channel in the future, which considering you and mumbo were my favourite hermits, is a shame. Even vodskal isn't worth watching anymore sadly
