The Cobbled deepslate method works best with 2 people, u dig a tunnel and release a Wither on 1 end and take it to half health. It follows one of you in the tunnel while the other gathers the drops

@@nrohector6919 they have the same hp as a player and from what i remember the regen they have is so strong that they can survive being constantly attacked by a warden sonic shriek, and they fly really fast when damaged so they could probably run from a wither

Hey X, on the topic of auto crafting and crafting table ui simplicity, what if they added the same functionality the space bar has with villager trades? For example, you click the recipe you want initially and to select it again, just press the space bar and it auto refill the crafting ui. I feel like that’s a really simple thing to add and would make crafting bulk items so much easier

Your ender chest idea is good for single player, but, i think with multiple people and voice chat group, it would be better to make a bunch of ender pearl stasis chambers on top, and then one player (controller) stays there to manually activate them on command when someone gets noticed by wither, and the others (collectors) go down and collect blocks until noticed. When collector gets noticed by withers and ender pearled out, he then becomes the controller so he can heal up/ lose wither effect or die and deposit blocks in chests,and the previous controller can go down to collect. Then just repeat :)

@@Tom-oz7wk Yeah, and that is why i suggested rotating. I.E.: I'm pressing button, and you are collecting blocks, you get spotted, and i bring you up. Then i go down to collect, and you have time to heal, and deposit what you collected, until i need rescue, then just repeat :)

Actually with scars system, if you take the average, it doesn’t speed it up at all, and it actually makes it slower if you think about it, even if the hopper minecart is limited to hopper speed, your fix waits till the chest is filled by hopper speed anyway, so it doesn’t matter anyway, it can only unload as fast as it gets loaded which is what it was doing and now your pausing it which makes it slower.

I think if I understand this storage system sorts by items stacks at a time, which is picked up by the hopper minecart. So if there is a full stack of items in the first slot it will pick up the entire stack and sort it in one minecart cycle. But since it's only taking items from the first slot that is still being filled by the hopper speed, it's taking Abt 8 items at a time when it could be taking 32, making 4 trips instead of 1. So by locking it, the minecart can have a chance to take the bigger stacks, and take less trips. This stack mode is the "intended mode" that it should be working at. If you have a normal double chest of items to sort, there is no issue, u would take exactly 54 trips to sort thru them. So let's say Scar has like 8 chests of items that is all flowing thru the bottom chest 7 chest of items are being sorted inefficiently using one slot and only after all 7 chest of items have flowed thru at hopper speed will the system start pulling proper stacks of items. By locking the flow half the time, more items can be sorted by the stack mode. When it's flowing thru, it will build up larger stacks in the minecart chest that are ready to be sorted by stack mode, and then perhaps 4 out of 8 chests worth of items are sorted by stack mode when the other 4 are sorted inefficiently as it flows thru one slot.

I'm not very sure how the loading system works, but I think the way to make it properly efficient would be to add more chest on top have the minecarts pull the items from the top chests and work their way to the bottom. So a comparator that would detect if a chest has any items inside and change the minecart track to catch the minecart shld solve the issue

Or, even better, have two chests. When one gets full, lock it and change the hopper line to prevent it from filling and fill the other one. When the first one is completely emptied, lock the second one and change over the tracks take items out of the second one. Swap back and forth as needed.

@@ca-ke9493 I see what your saying, but I don’t think you understand what I mean. So think about it this way, the sorter/minecart can only unload items as fast as the items are coming in. In a perfect world, Flow in = flow out. However the issue is that the minecart has the ability to unload faster than the system can load, this is because the minecart hopper has 4x hopper speed while the chest is being loaded at 1x hopper speed. So in the end you can only unload at 1x hopper speed. Pausing the unloader only means that the minecart makes less trips. It actually takes more time because before you were unloading at an average speed of 1x hopper speed. But now that your pausing half the time, your unloading 0.5x hopper speed, meaning that on average your also unloading at 0.5x hopper speed, even though when it’s unloading it looks like it’s 4x hopper speed. The proper solution would be to use more hoppers inputing into the double chest so the unloading into the chest can handle 4x hopper speed unloading. This would also need a faster shulker box unloader. (currently The shulker unloader is feeding the hoppers loading the chest at 1x speed)

Just to prevent misinformation... Items held in your hands do not affect detection range when invisible. You can definitely get a fortune pick and grab the uncovered diamonds without fear of being detected because of your pickaxe.

Since you are playing in multiplayer, you can have someone at the top who triggers your ender porter when you are in trouble. (Like Grian did for the Bad Boys in the recent Life series)

Awesome to hear your building a PC, I just re-built my rig literally yesterday and I upgraded massively! Moved my motherboard to a new fancy case and I upgraded my CPU from Intel i-3 10100F to i-9 10900K with water cooling. Upgraded my GPU from GTX 1660 SUPER to RTX 3060Ti and also had to up PSU. Considering what Doc has built you can use wither "bullets" to mine, but it'll require "transporting" the shots to the target deepslate, which can include the Nether, but that's a lot of "trouble", or more like a technical stuff to have fun, not crazy chaotic fun like this. I like this!

Just to clarify, the withers will still be able to see you from the same distance if you have items in hand, in fact you could have a full armor on and as long as you have invis you will only be spotted from very close away by any mob (except the warden) (and don't attack them)

Hey, simple idea for the management, try making an obsidian shelter in the ancient city! If it's open enough, it could possibly be a way for you to refuel on pots and access items easier. Withers can't destroy the obsidian, and yes obsidian is a difficult block to farm, but it could also play into some kind of minigame functionality too.

I had an idea for a game that could potentially be made in Minecraft. Back in the 90's there was a video game for the NES called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and there was a section of the game where you were swimming around inside of a dam trying to beat a timer while shutting off explosive charges. I spent stupid amounts of time as a child playing that level. A person could make an underwater maze using magma blocks and soul sand to create areas you couldn't swim back through. I'm wondering if tridents can make target blocks give off a signal to "shut off" the charges and if you beat a timer it shuts the game off but if you fail it drops TNT from dispensers to kill the player. Could be useful since TNT won't destroy blocks inside water. Also a use for conduits. Total Chaos gave me the idea. Makes me wonder what other underwater shenanigans a person could get up to.

Dude I have great suggestions regarding wither farming 1. Don’t spawn them at entrance 2. Made obsidian and water walls room with ender chests like safe house or checkpoint 3. Pre-fill the inventory slots with items in accordance to their abundance 4. Use lingering potions 5. Use Allays Army I am going to comment this off all four hermits let’s see who likes it first

I think Bundles would be useful additions for these Wither mining trips. It prevents your Ender Chest from being filled up in only two to three trips if you bring a few bundles with you on each trip and then store those in the Chests.

The wither mining could be improved building some automatic potion brewers for splash invis, speed, night vision. And something that dispenses them automatically when you enter the hole, so when you die you simply run back in without needing to drink the potons.

I don't think that the invisibility effect is affected by whether or not an item is in your hand. I tested with a wither in a creative world, and it always aggroed at a distance of 2 blocks both with and without an item. You might be confusing it with the mechanic where armor reduces invisibility, which does happen from my testing.
