I knew that the season was gonna end after Decked Out ended. People are finishing up their bases, it's gone on for a while. Here's to season 10! Season 10 would be a good time for new hermits, and maybe a few returning hermits if we're lucky.

I would love to see a major focus on hermits helping hermits. For example, it would be great if there was a team that helps on large projects like Scarland. That way it can one, get finished in good time and , two, encourage interaction of hermits. You guys don’t need 20 iron farms. Just my two cents!

I would love to see something like the "base buddies" that Etho and Iskall did in season 8. (Who both put out single digit episodes that season) Again, its to encourage hermits to interact more. And as the life series has shown us, when they break out of their usual cliques they have amazing chemistry.

Having things like TCG and Decked Out that allowed all the hermits to interact constantly for like 6 months was gold. Not to mention two of the most incredible projects ever made in survival minecraft. What a season!

I think Season 10 needs to start out with, "Everybody Gives Doc A Hug." In one of his videos after the big grass-covering-perimeter hangout, he was talking about how he heard about everyone hanging out having a good time without him, and I think he genuinely sounded a little sad and left out :( He's a great dude, I'd love to see more people collab w/ him on projects of some sort in Season X or something.

I guess Scar didn't get to his roller coaster and Doc had a few more mural spaces, but if you look at everything they accomplished this season it's beautiful. The only reason it feels incomplete is because Doc and Scar do a really good job at building suspense. The nice thing with Doc's Base is that he could write it off as you can put up your own mural with the world download.

skizz doesnt upload enough and just his overall minecraft abilities doesnt fit with HC. he has great chemistry with everyone but lacks in pretty much every other category. There are other minecrafters who would fit much better like Joel or fwhip who have both technical skills and viewership that would make them great for HC

​@@user-kt6jv8wk5xI think Skizz said before he likely wouldn't join Hermitcraft even if he were invited because they usually require a big time dedication and he doesn't have the time for that. He also very much lacks in building skills, which isn't a deal breaker, but it does kind of count against him. He may have changed his mind though and he is very charismatic and has strong leadership skills that could be beneficial for the server, along with the fact that he seems to have great chemistry with all the Hermits he has interacted with. I think he can inject the kind of life into the series that Grian did when he first joined in Season 6. I would love to see him in the series as much as anyone else, but I am not counting on it.

I agree that there are current hermits like that but theyve already been added to the server long ago so they have permanent residence on HC. Its the recruiting of new players that now has much higher demands to join the server.@@sanautin

I loved the long season. So many epic accomplishments while allowing the hermits to pace themselves a bit. A couple of hermits may have paced themselves just a little too much imo but overall this season was amazing. My vote is for another long season like this vs the short one like season 8. Can’t wait for the world download!! Thank you to all the hermits for your hard work and endless entertainment you’ve provided us fans over the years. Season 9 is the first time i ever got into Hermitcraft. I was lucky to start right at the beginning of it. It was amazing to witness all the things hermits can do throught it. Perfect builds, ideal goofiness, great comedy. So much fun people

A little disappointed there wasn’t a look back at TFC for the retrospective. Kind of a pivotal moment of Season 9 that I wish didn’t seem to be swept under the rug. 😢I know it’s a difficult topic with the hermits of course and they don’t want to dwell on it. But with the season ending and remembering being the focal point remembering loss is equally as important as what we gained.

It is sad, in a bittersweet way. Season 9 was epic, in a hundred different ways. It was a whirlwind of stories and playful events, dreamy builds and magic. You said, Xisuma, that you're not a good builder? Dude : you did it all this year : innovative farms, and some of them you managed to make look actually really really cool, not just massive or impressive, but also gradient and color choice, organics, intricate architecture... You roleplayed. You were a pirate, albeit for just a few episodes, but you did it : you always say it's not your thing, but I mostly think that you have those stories inside you, you just don't trust yourself to just tell and play them. It's not a problem though : the Bone Mage shows your inner storyteller in a another way, through your whole builds and your clever choice of server tweaks, you create the lore. You really went outside your comfort zone, and that's a lesson for all of us, at least in that game, but also for any creative venture : Challenge yourself, even when you're on more than 10 years experience. Think outside the proverbial box. And you did it in this season. I hope Scar can continue Scarland on a personal note though, because that's his life time project, of sorts. He needs to be able to build that coaster and that boatride he's been talking about. Anyways : thank you, for almost 2 years of living all those adventures with you and the other hermits. For all those memories I didn't know I needed of friends i'll never meet but will cherish nonetheless.

Just one wish for the next season: The Hermirs shouldn't feel obligated to always go big and bigger! I like small intimate builds that have had a lot of thought out into them. We've all seen what Minecraft is capable of size-wise - yes, the grind is admirable - but the really interesting parts are the little nooks and new ideas.

While I'm incredibly excited for the season 10, I'm also somewhat worried. Don't get me wrong, some of the stuff that was happening this season was out of this world, Decked Out 2 making a history basicially by itself, and the King Arc and the Royal Quests were absolutely awesome. But I just worry about the Hermits getting burned out. I mean, I do get it, I'm older than most of them and I know there's no way I wouldn't feel burnt out after such a long time with so many judging eyes on my hands. It's been over 10 years of this, and I've been here for a big chunk of it. There was a Hermitcraft episode of some hermit to watch almost everyday, and I derived a lot of comfort from that many, many times. But it is hard to be thankful for something good, when you have this concern of losing it, isn't it? I really do hope Hermitcraft will continue going strong for next 10 years, but not at expense of our beloved hermits. Thank you for your hard work Xisuma, both as entertainer/content creator and as the force keeping it all together. I hope it came across the way I intended, but I really appreciate you and your series. Cheers.

It's always an odd, bittersweet feeling when the seasons come to an end. I started watching around the end of season 6 and had actually restarted watching it from the beginning to see what I had missed when the end was announced. It feels similar to a smaller degree. I feel a little bummed for things that could have been, but at some point, with art of all forms, you need to call something done and move on to a fresh start. At the same time, I'm excited for the next season to see what you all get up to! The deluge of the Hermits' episode 1 episodes and all that insanity, the new builds, new storylines, and new ways of taking the game of Minecraft and turning it inside out for the entertainment of tons of people (and the Hermits themselves)! Congratulations on a great season!

Great season x! Congrats on another great series. This is my own greed talking, but i'd love for the hermits to pair up and show each other their hard work in some collab episodes. I know you guys spend an insane amount of time working on your bases and creations, but rarely ever do we get to see another hermit react to those things, grian's world tour in season 7 was one of my favorite episodes because you got to see each of the bases be appreciated, however it didnt go in depth. For example, you could visit scarland and then after show scar all these things you showed us in this episode. I get so sad that all these crazy builds you guys have never seem to be seen by others at the end of seasons. Anyways congrats again and thanks for the content man, we had a great time.

I normally would be thrilled at this announcement: a new season would probably spark new interest in HC from Hermits that haven’t posted much recently, like Grian. Season 10 would also be great if new members were to join. But this cut-off feels… forced. Scar and Doc especially have a lot left to do with their bases, and I’m sure that a lot of the community agrees that it would be great if they have a chance to - myself included. If the end of your Hermitcraft 9 content comes soon, I respect that - but I don’t want all the commitment of Scar and Doc to grinding for this season to result in spectacular bases *so close* to completion that remain unfinished. They deserve more time! Neither of them seem burnt out in videos, either, like Grian or Mumbo.

The end of S9 took me by surprise, as I was still following Scar building the worlds of Scarland and it felt like it'd be going on for a while, he has big plans! It's been a great season though and I'm excited for the world download! Your tour past old builds made me nostalgic about my own world again that I play on with some family members. Didn't realize that some of the things I made were years old! Time does fly playing Minecraft. I'm really proud of some areas as well and a bit disappointed with others. I know it seemed to be coming to a end for awhile but i was hoping for scarland and the perimeter to be filled up first. I would love to see skizz on if he wanted to play because of the energy he brings to the area he is in. I am always sad to see a season end (started watching in season 6) but i am excited for season 10.

Excited for another season! Started watching season 6 when Grian joined and havent stopped. So many good memories since then and I feel like I have so many friends that I listen to. Good friends to get us through hard times. When season 10 begins, will a special spot underground be reserved for the memory of TFC?

Hey X! What a season it has been, huh! So, so many wonderful memories, so many great things that happened, it's honestly quite somber to remember all of that. I still remember the first episode I watched, the ABBA games during season 2, it was so long ago and it's so interesting to see how much i've grown as a person. I'll be away for a year in military, and i'll very much miss your videos. You've been a light in my darkest days, some routine when my mental was too low to follow mine. Thank you for everything, and I hope to catch up on everything when I'm back :)

Wow, I can't believe this season is already over! I'm super excited for season 10. I really miss how much the shopping district was used in season 7, and I feel like the shopping district just wasn't used as much this time. I hope next season we can see more of that, because I feel like the shopping district brought hermits together a lot in s7. I also liked Boatem in season 8, where multiple hermits all grouped together in one area and were consistently interacting. This season felt a bit lacking in that respect--and it was one of my favorite moments when everyone came together to cover doc's hole. Tl;dr I would LOVE to see even more group projects and interactions next season. I'm excited to see what y'allve got in store for us!

I'm rather sad that the season ended before Scar could finish Scarland and Doc's perimeter! But this has been my favorite season so far. It started out kinda slow, not gonna lie,. but this was the year I discovered what a mad GENIUS Doc is! Bringing the Ender Dragon and 26 Ghasts to the Overworld - just because?!!! And then Tango and his DO2 - chef's kiss! Thanks for a great couple of years (doesn't feel like it).

Well damn, time sure flies. It sure shows that I'm still stuck in a post-pandemic time perception when the events from this season overlap in my head with season 8. I really enjoyed your approach to redstone this season. I've stopped watching redstone tutorials after realizing I'm depriving myself of the fun of figuring things out on my own, and I enjoy that figuring it out aspect in your videos.

season 9 is the first world that i could see an Official Public Server running, and resetting every few months till a better world download comes along. i want Xisuma to build 0 automated farms in season X. id like to see his take on the perfect mid base (which is all a Hermit ever REALLY needs). and actually... my perfect season 10 would be a single hermit megabase, and i want X to design the Workshop.

I will always love this season of Hermitcraft cause finally Empires get a chance to play in the server. Which is just so amazing. Very unexpected (for me) collaboration and it made me love Empires and Hermitcraft even more
