You could rename the shulker boxes at an anvil with a leading number so you know in what order to put them up. 1 Wood, 2 Stone etc. Love the vids!

Zed, 1. do you have room for the mobile base storage shuckers in your ender chest? 2. If they are color coded you can have the wall behind where they go to match the shriller s for easier manual placement

You could number and rename the shulkers. like Z1-Stone, Z2-Nether etc. Then organize most in your enderchest for transport. Glad to see a new video please upload more often! ♪

You could name/number the shulker boxes so that you could just dispense them easily. Then, if you wanted to add things to them, you could just pump things into the dispensers with hoppers and use comparators to activate them once the hoppers are filled. Hope this useful!

Ive had an idea for a sorting system for some time. Maybe you can see if it can work, practically? So the concept is that its like a regular sorting hopper, but you cycle the first item in the sorting hopper with other items to control what gets sorted. This way, you can dump your shulkers into a chest and the system picks them out in order and leaves the undesirables behind. So in practice this would mean another hopper feeds into the sorting hopper from the side, fed by a chest of all the items that will set the sorting for the hopper, in order. The sorting hopper has only one item in the first slot, which is then pulled out (when activated) and a new item is pulled in from the side hopper. Downstream from the sorting hopper, the system would have to divert the sorting item from the sorted items and return the sorting items to the chest, which i think there are several ways to do.

What's the ender chest used for? You could have one in each base to put the Schuller boxes in, then take them out at your new base. Or, if you wanted to make a project out of it, use a water pipe system to deliver any items, not just shulker boxes, between bases.

Valuables, Redstone, Wood, Stone, Glass, Wool, Dyes, Mob Drops, Plants, 2-3 x Trading Items(like carrots,, potatoes, sugar cane, etc), Back-up Gear, 2-3 x Project Box. That's all I can think of right now. Obviously the number of each box type can be adjusted to your needs

I use a basic sorting system for my shulkers, I have 6 basic color boxes as random stuff I don't always need, 2 light blue for valuables, one black for backup equipment that always stays in my ender chest just in case, 6 light grey for basic blocks(sand, cobble, blah) 5 dark grey for crafted blocks(stone brick, tericotta) 2 yellow for lighting blocks, 5 white for resource gathering used with my shulker unloader/bulk silos, 10 Brown for bulk wood, 3 red for redstone stuff, 1 pink for food, 2 magenta for potions and enchanting items, 2 orange boxes I specifically keep empty for quick grabbing stuff for projects on the fly, and my cyan on the go box with spare rockets, elytra, coal, bed, furnace, craft table, ender pearls, etc. It's like half sorting, things are still sorta scattered a bit, but typed by use so it's still much easier to find going thru maybe 4-6 boxes for something instead of 40.. 😊

There are actually 17 colours for shulker boxes -- the original, purplish one plus the 16 standard dye colours (the one dyed purple is more saturated than the original). You'll still have to double up some, of course, but hey, one less!

Using Q to drop things is dangerous. I always rebind to the Delete key so I never drop things by mistake. And then I use Q for jump.
