Hermitcraft Season 8 starting in Minecraft 1.17, the Caves and Cliffs Update has arrived.
The Withers almost broke Doc but in true GOAT spirit, it is not over yet! The Obsidian Farm finally is up and running. The Withers are tamed. Aftere that, Doc tackles the next crazy project. Large scale update supression on the Hermitcraft Server to creat an Octagonal Portal.

Sell the copper for two or three diamonds, for four hermits might think it's too expensive and go to Tango instead. Also, you should totally sell obsidian, Mumbo sells some and it sells decently well, but you could easily price him out as he doesn't have an insane farm like you do.

Doc, one thing I genuinely appreciate is how long you make your videos. Almost all of the hermits only make about 25 minute videos, and sometimes it feels like you just want more. Every single season, one of the top performing shops is redstone components. Granted, Doc is usually a huge part of the customer base. But none the less. There's no redstone shop yet. It's a big market, but it's more than 1 more item. Unless you just sell by the block.

How about selling ancient debris? There is a definite gap in the market and Cub proved it to be successful last season. Some great room for advanced quarry engineering to automatically piston bolt the debris using a slimestone quarry of sorts. That’s not been done on Hermitcraft yet!

Fastest way to autofarm stone isn't as fast as the fastest cobble generator. Maybe they can build an insane super smelter too haha. Just need a giant bamboo farm that passes the drops through a water stream above fuel hoppers and they can drop the cobble through another water stream over the input hoppers. Then have auto droppers drop them out into another water stream and into some high speed shulker loaders.

Really, it all starts with the same, simple question: "How can we farm [item]." From there, you just find out all the details. What can break the block/drop the item? How can we do that reliable and automatically? And so on. This is often why the complexity is so high, because the questions spiral out of control when dealing with things like withers! How do you contain them? How do you keep the chunks loaded?

Do dispensers make use of Unbreaking when using items? If so, you could probably get a 1-emerald unbreaking 3 villager to help make the flint n steels last longer.

Impulse already has both nether wood types farm, and he has started selling all of the stuff his farms make in one shop(previously most of them were unsold or spreaded around pop-up stalls). So it would be unwise to build a farm for nether wood. I cant really think of any item with large demand but no decent supply, but good luck to you, Doc.
