The Perimeter is starting to look insane... Well, uh... More insane. For the longest time it just looked like a hole in the ground filled with hyper efficient farms, and now if you look at it from the right angle you can get a feel for how the finished product is going to look. The murals remind me of all of that beautiful ancient artwork we see in real life, but it is done at such a large scale that it looks insane. Not to mention, I happen to be a big fan of pixel art, so I love the style even more because of that.

Funny how building the murals perfectly helped to oxydise each section of copper block on the perimeter's house and goat fresca. You can also see that the parts of the top of the mural that mostly have the same grey blocks are topped by non-oxydised copper, since avoiding the block switch made doc stay less long in that part of it :) Very cool video too! ;)

Just from the ones I watch - your Perimeter, Scar's amusement park, Tango's Citadel with Decked Out 2 beneath, Joe's pinball machine, Ren and Etho's ice race... There's so much packed into this season. When the world download comes out, it'll take days of walking around trying to see it all.

On the skins - steve and alex, while "semi neutral" racially definitely had gender associations to them over the years. For younger players who *dont* pick skins or know how to upload them, or people who play Offline (as was when you had the skin servers go down for yourself), having a wider variety of default skins is always great. Also on Consoles, the options are either Default Skins or Marketplace Skins cuz consoles don't let you upload your own files, so more default skins also helps there. Not really a downside to adding more!

I have only been around in the community since the end of Season 7. But I agree that arguably of the greatest moments in Hermitcraft history are when the Hermits come together to do something amazing. This season has had lots of that, people teaming up in the Diamond Block Pillar race, everyone building different parts of the final King battle and taking part, the Empires Crossover, and of course the charity event spearheaded by Scar. I know you said you don’t really like saying one thing is the best in Hermitcraft. But I feel like the Charity Event, with everyone pitching in with making their own games for everyone to play is exactly in the spirit of the GOAT. Because you did it Together. And did something amazing.

A potential solution to the wither skull problem would be a chunk loader in the problem area, that is triggered by a clock located underneath the withers themselves. So it could be 'on' 24/7, but in order for the chunk loader to be running, the withers themselves have to be loaded by a player. That way the chunk loader only runs when it is needed.

I still can't get over the scale and how insane the Murals are, so many cool builds this season, Doc says at the end of the video he doesn't like it when someone says "One of the best bases ever" but I feel like pretty much every base this season and past seasons (Keralis legendary S7 City for example) fall under "this is one of the best bases ever" because sometimes you see a build that's so amazing and cool that the only way to describe how awesome it is would be to call it one of the best even if that's kind of impossible to actually choose a best base

I'm amazed that you managed that big mural in between two episodes. I figured it would be a three ep project, at least! And D.O.

Doc, I'm in a horribly panicky state right now due a horrible situation I have to put up with for the night, so I just wanted to say thank you for all your videos. You're the first person I've watched in a long time who can calm me down, and you inspire me to work harder, remind me that "grind" _means_ something. I only started watching you from this season of Hermitcraft, but I already know that I'm going to go back and watch previous seasons after this one is done. Seriously, man, thanks for being you.

with all the work that has been done on the perimeter in recent weeks, i really hope we get to see how other hermits react when they see the perimeter now. especially the buttercups because they were making fun of the walls of the perimeter before. everyone has been so busy with decked out or other series that i haven't seen them look at anything else.

Beautiful work on all three of the murals Doc and amazing work to all the artists! (Im not biased of course :D) Love how much appreciation youre showing to artists this season through your dedication. Very wholesome and personally motivating for me!

first of all: funny number episode, nice. secondly: I really like how you talk about what the different kinds of fan artists are doing, and how it affects how the perimeter turned out. It really feels like a community project, you know?

On today's episode of 1000 ways to break minecraft, we relax and do a simple tree farm and place about 70k blocks for a mural. Thank you for all the work you put in man, you're definitely the doctor they told us to call. \m/\m/

This looks incredible man. Honestly well done. I think this is one of the coolest things any of the hermits have done. Telling a story thru art is an amazing thing and I love to see it

I haven't much time to keep up with hermitcraft but I check back in now and again and I'm always dumbfounded by docs sheer grit and resilience to grind and build so many magestic builds, truly the Goat.
